Clutch squeaking from outside So I had just top up around 1/4 of my clutch fluid 3 days ago. Today, when I pressed down the clutch all the way to the floor, the clutch squeaks. This sound only comes when the pedal is 1/4 away from the floor. Any idea on what's happening? Is it because I topped up by using 6 months old opened Dot 4 brake fluid? I currently have 80,000 KM on my car. Anyway here is the video to show on what's happening |
Any fluid running down the firewall? Could be your master cylinder. |
Sounds like the clutch master Cylinder. Posted via RS Mobile |
Mine used to do the exact same thing. Sorry though, i completely forget what was repaired however... Was a few months ago. I'll go check my receipts and let you know asap. |
slave cylinder |
Sounds like clutch/slave but honestly unless you find any fluid by your pedals it could just be a squeak that needs some lubing Posted via RS Mobile |
I had just tried to bleed my clutch fluid and it now stucks on the floor. I had tried to bleed again but there are still many bubbles. Posted via RS Mobile |
