Genesis Coupe Owners get in here!

I'm thinking about financing a new genesis coupe 2.0t premium pack and I wanted the owners opionions on how the car has been so far for them. Pros and Cons would be much appreciated as well as overall quality of the car so far. If I was to buy I would be getting the facelifted 2013 model which is ugly to some but I love it. however 2010/2011 model owners are welcome to give me their opionions as well. Thanks in advance.

I test drove the BRZ, the accord coupe and the Altima coupe and they didn't quite impress me as much as the genesis did. Not just the vehicle but the financing options as well.

i got my 2012 2.0t premium a couple weeks ago so i can't say too much as of right now, but

pros:
has some really nice body lines
nice interior, don't have any problems with it yet (can fit 2 medium adults in the back, knee room is okay, but head room is not that great)
i like the torque and the stock exhaust
can use regular fuel

cons:
gas mileage, didn't think it'd be this bad when i was buying it (computer is telling me around 14.5L-15.5L/100km) 90% city and im not driving it hard at all

For the price genesis does its job.
Just don't go to "closed" road to buy your car

Edit: I'm at about 10/11L for gas mileage right now.

Um not too sure how many people own a 2013 2.0T here.

Shoot me a PM if you want to know more.

EDIT:

I has r-spec because korean racecar

EDIT2:

HOT TIP! When you go to test drive one make sure you wait until the oil temp is around 170 so you get max boost. I remember reading people took it out for a drive right off the lot and said it had no power. Takes about 5 minutes.

EDIT3:

OK I'm bored.

Pros:
- I think its sexy as fuck. I love the body lines and the interior is great (especially your premium). I don't want to say is luxury but they kind of found a mid point and its what I was looking for.
- Engine makes great power and has great torque. No ricer downshifts required.
- Good on gas
- Warranty
- Financing
- Great car for money
- Tail lights are mad aggressive yo. Bright as fuck blinding Inaii and Raiden all day.
- Car is surprisingly huge

Cons:
- Hey remember when I said good on gas? Lol not really. Boost all day because racecar 350km a tank. I'm averaging 450-500 on 91 driving from coquitlam to DT daily so its not the best but it does well as long as you don't floor it (that goes with most cars though)
- 3.8 Trim lvls in Canada are stupid. Fucking Muricans
- Rattles when cold sounds like a cheap bastard
- I had a manufacture defect and my front fender needed to be fixed because it would rattle at certain RPM
- Check out the gencoupe.com forums because there has been some issues with the wastegate rattling (mine is fine)
- Car is surprisingly huge

How do you get 10 or 11L/100km? I'm at 14.5, all city.

For dealership I quite like Destination Hyundai. For service, especially them.

+1 to what radioman said

didn't like the frs, the interior didn't cut it for me
didn't want something like a merc or audi, not sporty enough
the genesis falls right in the middle which is what i wanted

i like the 2013 more
looks sexy as fuck in black

i didn't buy mine at open road, but went in to look and jordan was great
destination was also really nice to me, but unfortunately did not have a 13' genesis for me the test at the time
ended up buying off craigslist

lol, I went into Open Road Hyundai before I bought the car I have now, thinking I may as well try all my options before I make a final decision. The old guy made me wait in the lobby for 20minutes doing who knows what he came back I asked to see the Genesis coupes, asks for my age then said "no, im not going to do that" then I was just like "wtf" and walked out, went to Lexus the week after signed some papers and walked out with an IS. What a prick.

I'm not gonna bother repeating myself again because I said this so many times over so many different forms but
Long story short sales manager some brown guy made me cry accused me of lying and they sold me a car with defects.
GM at that time promised me new windshield (probably so he could make me Stfu at the dealership cuz I was crying and making a scene) and he fucking left to Toyota without keeping his words despite the fact I called numerous times and even told service ppl to leave him a msg.
Fuck closed Road fuck that piece of shit fuckitty place
I'm just glad I already made numerous people walk away from that shit hole
Oh right, and some retard who was salesman at that time decided to msg shit with sexual contents. Super unprofessional.

If anyone here absolutely have to go to Open road no choice, then go find Jordan.

I can't speak for the 8 speed auto.

6 spd is clunky 1st --> 2nd (more so when cold)
Sometimes theres a split second pause when changing gears.

Honestly this is my first manual car so I dont have much to compare too. I havent had any real issues with it.

This video explains the pause I'm talking about. Its at 1:20ish for some reason it wont let me embed when to start the video
