Buying new car, what to look for?

My friend's planning on buying the 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS from Destination Hyundai. We already test drove it, and the car feels pretty good. We will be finalizing a deal within the next week.

This is the first time either of us has bought a car, so we're not very experienced. We were wondering what are some of the things we have to look for?

The asking price is about $26,200. My friend is planning on paying that in one payment, no financing required. How much would we be able to bargain it down to?

Any help is appreciated :)

check out unhaggle.ca and find out the dealer invoice price of the car
I usually ask for 1k-2k above dealer invoice

Shop at more then one dealer for starters and make them bid for your business.

this.

easiest solution. you already know their invoice price.

invoice +3% profit would be fair. (well that and try to get them to throw in some accessories LOL )

Next Honda I buy, the dealer must include an authentic Mugen sticker shipped overnight from Japan via EMS.
