Mind = blown! Glad I stuck to watching this series even when it seemed pretty slow, really getting good now. Loved the Capt. America tie-in! Great master plan all along...
That exchange with Coulson before escorting the HYDRA prisoners makes me think he's playing double agent to get inside HYDRA.
It could be possible Ward used icers on Hand, but this is proven false because in the previous episodes icers turned a blue splatter not a red.
The red blood in the close up shot of Hand's hand haha disproves that icers were used. As well as the two extra bullets Ward put in her.

Ah, BUT...
Spoiler!
... the first shot could have been a real bullet, followed by icers? But then I guess that would have been noticeable on Hand.
Still, Hand even offering to let Ward shoot Garrett rather than hold him for questioning is sketchy... how the fuck do you find out how deep his infiltration goes if he's dead??
For that matter... we've already seen one "wrong" Clairvoyant capped... who's to say Garrett is the real one and not just another decoy?

Yup I gave up after like 6 or 7 episodes, came back and to my surprise it looked like it got good. Just downloaded all the other episodes. BRB going on a marathon.

In an interview with the producers, they said that Hand and those Shield agents are dead dead. I would have thought Robert Redford's character would've been the Clairvoyant. Couldn't stop and think of True Lies when Garret popped up.

Do you have a link to the interview? Youtube or article?
Just got caught up (only got into it after exams were finished) and I have to say... the beginning was kinda slow. It reminded me of "Smallville" where literally every episode was 95% "there's someone with powers that has to get capped" and 5% "actual plot moving forward".
That being said, about halfway through things started to get really interesting, esp. how the plot ties into the movies as well. Can't wait to see this week's episode!
And I won't lie, the one thing that kept me going was the hotness of all the female characters (in their own ways). Adding Cobie Smulders to the mix will just make this show more epic.
what a memorable episode. cobie smulders, harvey spectar lookalike from heros, and coulson hiding in the wheel latch like the kid in real life Posted via RS Mobile
I watched the first episode when it first came out and really didn't like it at all. But I've got to agree with most people and say that after a few episodes it starts to pick up. Would def recommend giving it a watch if you wrote it off earlier in the season.
