Your thoughts on Tort's forecheck system for the team?
-noticed that the forecheck is much more aggressive, especially after watching it closely in the Phoenix game. John Garrett of Sportsnet kept saying that you see three Canucks players going hard in the forecheck in the Phoenix. One player checks the Phoenix player, and two Canucks are right behind the Canucks player and the Phoenix player, to provide puck support.
-definitely more aggressive than AV's system. -get more puck possession in order to get more scoring chances.

Shanahan messes up on the Kessel suspension. The stick swinging lumberjack wannabe only gets a suspension for the remaining three pre-season games.
Talk about a flawed system for dishing out discipline.
Kassian's accidental stick swing gets him 8 games (3 preseason, 5 regular season) because Gagner gets a broken jaw. Kessel shows intent to injure Scott with big swings of his stick. However, he gets to play regular seasons because Scott was not injured by the stick swinging.
The intent of the act means nothing when compared to the extent of the player's injury??? What a joke!
