Luu with the shutout! This is the best game played by many of the Canucks top guys tonight. Lu makes 40 saves. Edler gets 3 assists. Henrik played a good game. Shinkaruk scores a goal. Corrado has a good game.
A good win to get some momentum heading into the first regular season game.
Ice the near full line-up and we get a dub, surprise surprise. Boys looked to be clicking tonight, great to see. Hopefully there is more of this during the regular season. Edler has looked pretty good all preseason - maybe the coaching change? Either way, good shit.
It was nice watching the powerplay, something fresh finally. Nice to see the d throwing pucks through, they don't all need to be bombs. And also nice to see the Sedins setup the PP from the left side as well, see it ain't that hard for worldclass players. Not sure why it wasn't tried last year when they kept on trying to force the PP from the right corner, every PK read them like a book.
corrado and hamil sent down to ahl after the game, gaunce returned to ohl.
glad they decided to send corrado down, i think its better for him to play lots of minutes and in all areas than a 6th or 7th spot all year
Quick question NHL fans, I'm not much of a NHL fan but I am planning to buy the gf a jersey this year for NHL as a present. Any recommendations and tips? I looked at the Team Store and it seems like theres 3 different types on authenticity and price range.
The budget I'm looking at is probably like $200 for a decent one? And of course I'm looking to buy at least a replica and not a fake, or am I wrong?
Just get those retro v neck tops for chicks. Always looks good. Especially when she's just at your place watching the game. Just the shirt, no bottom and nice high socks. BOom.
