Bc Lions fans are usually red necks living outside of Vancouver or interior BC going downtown for a football game, just to get drunk and call it a weekend.... |

This road trip was a litmus test to see if the team can play with other teams in the Pacific Division.
Great win in San Jose. -tough loss against Phoenix. Torts said that he takes the blame for Phoenix game going into overtime by putting the fourth line late in the third period. -bad game vs the Kings. Ducks win thanks to that bum Perry.
-just cannot get the goals, especially consistent goals from the powerplay, to win a game. The Sedins and Kesler cannot carry this team on their backs for the entire season. Secondary scoring has to come from other guys.
Our goals for and goals against differential is at zero. 54 goals scored and 54 goals scored against the team. That's not good enough in the West.

Scoring on the PP in any of those games could have made a huge difference in the end. We're missing golden opportunities to put us ahead with the stagnant power play, which is an awful 9.7%. With the personnel we have, there's no reason to not be scoring.

Shattered ankle bones and ligaments?
Maybe even his tibia too

We need him for Team Canada too.... chit.

| I'd be surprised if his ankle was the primary injury, didn't really seem to make contact with the post. Looks like a tibia fracture to me, the way the whole lower foot and ankle whipped back after contact. It's pretty amazing how it took so little to happen, esp with the shin pads and the goal post already partially dislodged by his left skate. Goes to show its not all about your conditioning, lady luck plays a huge role in injuries.
I hope for Stamkos' sake that its broken tib, they are way easier to recover from than broken ankles. Ankle is one joint you don't want to do much with surgically especially if you're a high performing athlete.

Just saw the video. What an awful scene.
Mad respects for him and his dedication to the game. Huge loss to the NHL during his absence. Guy scores 25% of TB's goals

3-6 months... good night sweet prince
we play our first game in like 3 months?
he was on pace to have an amazing season too
@UFO
many ankle surgeries involve inserting plates and bolts so learning the biomechanics again def is a bitch and can be frustrating as hell, multiple joints too,100% agree
hopefully it's just some sprained ligaments if there's any damage at all to his ankle
broken bones come back stronger when they're healed at least

broken bones come back stronger when they're healed at least | +1. broken tib, just screw/pin the bones back together and they will heal. strengthen up the muscles again, good to go, easy as pie.
ankle surgeries, many times people can't even come back from those because you can't really re-learn how to move the ankle when it will only let you move it up and down now instead of 360* around like its supposed to. and severe lifelong chronic pain is a very realistic outcome too
Stamkos is a monster for even trying to get up on his own after breaking his leg, not just once, but twice.
