Was at the game last night. A drunk couple sat behind us, and were completely obnoxious throughout the first period. I've had my seasons for 2 years, its quite often I run into this problem. Luckily they left after the first, and ended up missing half the second. They came back and were still being just as annoying, however I didnt wanna leave or I'd miss the game, I was going to wait til the 2nd was over.
With 2 mins left in the second, the women split 3/4 of a beer down the back of my fiance, whom was wearing a jersey with a hoody, and it went threw to skin, she was soaked. We both left, I bit my tongue or I knew I'd probably get into a physical altercation, judging by his manerisms. Within 2 minutes of letting our gate host know what had happened, there was security, police, and rogers arena staff there.
They handled the situation very well, appolgizing about the incident. The couple was kicked out, my gf was given a free jersey from the team store, and they moved us to the lower bowl because her seat was wet.
I just thought I'd share the positive feedback I had with Rogers arena staff, and how they went beyond just kicking the idiots out.

Damn I would've never expected it. Even though a Canucks ticket in this city isn't what it once was, that to me is "above and beyond" with respect to what happened. I would've left ok with a food voucher or something. But wow, a free jersey. That's great service.
Last time I saw someone throwing a cup of down from the upper bowl and some guy got hit with it. (I think the cup was mostly ice by that time) The staff gave him a free t shirt only.
From what I've seen a lot of the times the staff over reacts to tightwads complaining about some guy being "loud"
But yea nothing worse than super obnoxious people sitting around you Posted via RS Mobile
I never let it bug me it is what it is, I expect it every time I go. Her jersey was practically screwed because she was drinking Smirnoff or some thing that was pink.
LOL who cares? He didn't want to play here so he isn't one of us anymore.
Two very different situations. Manny would've stayed and been a team guy but CoHo wanted to be a star rather than play behind Kes and Hank so he's dead to me.

I don't understand why people have to get drunk off their ass at the game. Why spend that much on warm beer and not enjoy the game? Why not do that at the bar? Fucking morons.
Heh...I like to rile up the drunks and get them kicked out, though.

My sarcasm failed to reach your receptors. I apologize.
