Shouldn't have been a goal. Gagner initiated contact while driving the net, which pushed Luongo out of the crease, then didn't immediately vacate the crease, impeding Luongo's ability to make a save.
69.3 Contact Inside the Goal Crease - If an attacking player initiates contact with a goalkeeper, incidental or otherwise, while the goalkeeper is in his goal crease, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed.
...
If, after any contact by a goalkeeper who is attempting to establish position in his goal crease, the attacking player does not immediately vacate his current position in the goal crease (i.e. give ground to the goalkeeper), and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed. In all such cases, whether or not a goal is scored, the attacking player will receive a minor penalty for goalkeeper interference.
If an attacking player establishes a significant position within the goal crease, so as to obstruct the goalkeeper’s vision and impair his ability to defend his goal, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed.
For this purpose, a player “establishes a significant position within the crease” when, in the Referee’s judgment, his body, or a substantial portion thereof, is within the goal crease for more than an instantaneous period of time.
I really like the way Kass is playing. Despite not yet being the power forward that a lot of people expected him to be, he seems to have a decent shot and an adequate vision of the ice, not to mention being fairly speedy for a big guy.
Building up chemistry with Kesler is definitely a big plus!
Can we look forward to 3 power forwards in Kassian, Lain and Archibald?

MOSCOW, January 19 (R-Sport) – Traktor Chelyabinsk forward Evgeny Kuznetsov told R-Sport on Sunday he will make good on his vow to join the Washington Capitals at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old is set to join fellow Russians Alexander Ovechkin and Dmitry Orlov at the Capitals, who drafted him 26th overall in 2010 and had been expecting him in summer 2012. Kuznetsov backtracked and decided to stay in his home town for two more seasons.
“Everything has been decided long ago, so I won’t stay for 10 or 15 million,”
Kuznetsov said. “People have been waiting for me, writing and coming here for three years. I’m a decent man and I will keep my word.”
The 6-foot-3, 187-pound forward failed to make Russia’s Olympic roster following mediocre performances in an injury-plagued season. Kuznetsov has notched up 14 points in 23 games, and is currently recovering from a leg injury picked up on Christmas Day.
Kuznetsov said he wasn't surprised to be left off coach Zinetula Bilyaletdinov's roster.
“I’m not stupid, so I understood everything beforehand,” he said. “Every player hopes to play at the Olympics, so I was also dreaming about it. But I think everything is fair and all the best [players] go to the Olympic Games.”
In five KHL seasons, Kuznetsov has 77 goals and 83 assists for 160 points in 243 games. He was an All-Star in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
he is finally coming to the NHL, anyone remember what he did to us in WJC

Its a realistic projection if he keeps up the play
i notice it only shutter during actually game its perfectly find when its commercial
also its 20 second late == i get notification of goals on my phone before i actually see it
Hockeystreams is not bad. Some shuddering when I put it on the HDTV using my laptop but that's probably because of laptop, old and not powerful enough.
Fine on tablet or PC.

The caps need anything they can get at this point, especially a new GM IMO
Hockeystreams is SO much better than Game Center Live I had the same problem threezero, no matter what I could not get HD through my xbox and it's not my internet and on the computer it was better but still pretty mediocre quality even on HD
60 FPS on hockeystreams opposed to 30 on GCL makes a big difference no need for a VPN either + draft coverage and other stuff no delay either
