All the Canucks have left to claim is their "sell out" streak which is BS anyways. Yes the tickets are all sold but there's so many empty seats with a slew of season ticket holders on FB every game trying to dump their tickets. Even half price tickets aren't moving.
And I understand the Canucks aren't a elite team anymore but for fuck sakes go out there and play the full 60 minutes. There's not a single player on the roster who gives a single fuck right now. Only thing they're good for is sitting on twitter and sending each other "cute" tweets which I don't find remotely funny or amusing. Instead of tweeting like dimwits why not go out there and do the job you're getting paid for.
And yes I tweeted that to Lack, Bieksa and Kesler lol.

That's if we don't have an epic fail of a trade were Gillis packages one or two of our prospects out with say Kesler or another player. The behavior from this Canucks management group is way too unpredictable for fans to be 100% certain about how this team will look next season.

I think if there's one thing you can bet on, it's that this won't happen in the summer. The reason they're even considering trading Kesler is to restock the cupboard with prospects. They would've already traded them away if they were in the market to deal them. Kesler on his own is already attractive enough to teams.

He's UFA with a 7.5m cap hit. For the Canucks to get him they would've had to shed more than Luongo's salary. But really- why would they give any assets up for a UFA when they have one foot out the proverbial door.
Oh shit my bad I didn't know he was a y
Ufa I thought he still had term left on his contract...well safe to say he isn't signing her in the off season due to torts Posted via RS Mobile
And I was hoping at least they may play the same boring ass game like Tuesday....
You know...having Eddie Lack in a pool and seeing a performance like Tuesday is a good sign...

A lot of people are going to realize how spoiled they were, especially during the WCE era. That team was truly horrible, especially goaltending, but it seemed that they could score at will
The Boston Bruins tried to complete another move on trade deadline day this week for a player signed long-term, but the deal fell through at the last minute.
The Bruins acquired defenseman Andrej Meszaros from the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday, and were working on another move for a defenseman, TFP has learned.
According to a well-placed league source, Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli was involved in significant trade discussions with the Vancouver Canucks for defenseman Alexander Edler.
In an interview on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston, Bruins President Cam Neely admitted that the team had another deal in the works.
"We were in on something else that we felt would have been good for us, if it could have got accomplished, but it wasn't entirely in our control," Neely revealed.
"We had a deal in principle that was predicated on another team getting something done. We felt it was certainly a 'hockey deal.' . . . It was a player that had term left on the contract."
The Boston Globe also reported this morning that Edler was a target for the Bruins, and had the Canucks dealt star forward Ryan Kesler to the Pittsburgh Penguins, they would have then sent Edler to Boston.
"There were a few good deals we were in. A little disappointed," Chiarelli said once the deadline passed. "Sometimes those deals come around in the summer and in the fall. You lay some groundwork for some deals later on too. We felt we did that too. But I thought we were in on a couple deals where it would have been good acquisitions."
It had been widely reported that Canucks ownership stepped in and prevented the Canucks from dealing the likes of Kesler, Edler and others -- teams had also inquired about defensemen Dan Hamhuis and Kevin Bieksa, both of whom have no-trade clauses like Kesler and Edler.
The Canucks are expected to reshape their roster over the off-season, upon which the likes of Kesler and Edler are expected to be dealt.
Neely also indicated that Wednesday's near-trade "may have laid some groundwork for the future."
In exchange for Edler, the Bruins would have sent a package that included one of defensemen Matt Bartkowski or Dougie Hamilton.
I would have liked to get Hamilton + back, but there is this which hinders anything from happening haha.

Alex Edler told me you don't sign a 6-year deal with a NTC so you can leave town shortly after #canucks Don't think he'd waive.
