It has nothing to do with where they are from.....That's the dumbest shit I've heard....It's as simple as the fact that they aren't enforcers, they both seem like quiet guys that just go out and do their thing....Chara, Lidstrom, etc....Those guys are enforcers. It has nothing to do with whether a guy is Canadian, American, Swedish, or African...
I, personally, couldn't see the Sedin's getting me fired up for anything....They seem very passive.
Homie, outside of those 2 there hasnt been a true euro leader since Forsberg.
People always love to debate the importance of the captaincy.. Hmm.. Weird.. only truly excellent/great captains have won.

I've been named 'captain' and not been named 'captain' several times for many different teams....It never meant shit to me & I've always said that....Being a leader comes naturally, not when you are told 'hey, we're gonna have guys look up to you'.....Even when I wasn't 'given the C', guys looked at me as a leader over the named captains, because my leadership was natural....
I don't care about the 'honour thing'...I care about W's....and I would hope/assume that guys playing at a much higher level than I ever have would say the same thing....

Basketball and soccer players are by far the softest/girlie-men/pussys of all pro athletes, especially Lebron. The guy was making a huge deal that he had a broken nose a few weeks ago, left the game and missed another game after because of a broken nose. You have hockey and football players breaking noses and just shrugging it off like no big deal all the time without missing a shift.
