Leaf fans back on suicide watch, Bernier out with groin injury
Friendly fire too
Sucks to be them
They're 1 point out of the last wild card spot with only 4 games left. The other 2 teams they're trying to catch have 6 games each. Finishing in the worst possible spot ftl Posted via RS Mobile
At least you got to check out the ring...my boss thought he was doing me a favor by not calling me over to check it out when Seabrook came over with it

Nice guy when he wants to be. First time I've ever seen a Cup ring, and also my first and last time ever having one on my finger.
Aquaman is expanding his empire into the restaurant business. If he runs these restaurants like the way he runs the Canucks, do not eat at these restaurants.
Seriously? What level of arrogance does Aquilini have to make him think that he can run profitable restaurants which serve food good? Stick with selling blueberries and condos, bro.
Carlyle destroyed Reimer's confidence. It's well known that Reimer wants out at the end of the season. Fitting that the team that threw him under the bus is also the team that is now relying on him to make the playoffs Posted via RS Mobile
Reimer has the opportunity to earn back the starting position should the Leafs somehow make it into the playoffs. If Bernier is out until the middle of a playoff series, I don't believe Carlyle would be dumb enough to go with an untested Bernier over a hot streak from Reimer. He got the into the playoffs and all the way to game 7 just a year ago. It would be like swapping out a solid Luongo for an untested Schnieder before being swept by the Kings. Luongo would still be your happy starter and Schnieder would have earned you some ready-to-play pieces to keep the nux a contender. Man Gillis dun goofed.

Kesler when asked about his future as a Canuck with the past trade rumours, he confirmed he had talks with the canucks about trading him but he says he wants to retire a Canuck. Makes me wonder if he'll even get traded this summer Posted via RS Mobile
Part of me thinks that he's toeing the party line, and that behind the scenes the organization will still try to trade him to a best-case-scenario team and make it look like he's the good guy.
By doing this, it also cuts the Canucks GM some slack as it wouldn't make it seem like Kes really wants out, thus diminishing his return package. Though given what was thrown around at the trade deadline, it wouldn't be much of a drop.
Kesler would net the biggest return for a re-tooling team like the Canucks. Though given his term and cost, it would help the Canucks just as much to remain. My guess is that he's gone the trade deadline before he's UFA.
