it feels so good to finally have a decent group of young players coming up after all these years of not much.
And I think this is why CoHo was the be all and end all for a lot of us. We simply had no one to replace him and all other prospects paled in comparison.
What I like about the subban pick is the family pedigree. When your brothers are already drafted /in the nhl the resources for your development are far greater than a player with no previous connexion to the nhl IMO, let alone when your brother is a star like PK is. The drive to make if seems even greater Posted via RS Mobile
I wouldn't get too excited bout that. For every Staal and Bure bros, there's a Gretzky and Lindros bros. Imagine the pressure on Brent Gretzky back in the day to perform? Even if he was 1/4 as good as Wayne, he'd still be an excellent player.

No taxes on paper but he'll be making some large donations to his Russian comrades whether he wants to or not.

Props to the Canucks for their long term efforts to help people in the community.
Getting the prospects to experience the caring culture of the franchise is good for these guys and also children. -good to see them spend some time with kids at Children's Hospital.
-gotta remind myself to continue donations to the Canucks for Kids Fund.
