For that price, it comes down to your own personality and taste.

I'm more of an Aston guy myself. Not too big on the loud-in-your-face obnoxious Italian supercars, but that's just me. (Not that I'd say no to one.)

I loved them until I drove one.

I understand the whole "lightweight" thing, but come on, Lotus. My mom's Civic has nicer interior materials. Rattling coming from every corner, and you can feel every crack in the concrete.

If your date is wearing a skirt or dress, there is no way she can sit down while looking decent.

can you get an early Gallardo for 80k yet?

if you want pussy, just get the flashiest badge you can get on a car. Merc S-class, SL55/63, older Ferraris, etc, etc

your take on the R8 being "sort of a pussy magnet" interests me. I would think it is exotic looking enough for a dumb girl to jump in your car for a roadside bj. girls seem to love convertibles too, there's another helpful tip.

I would select a Jaguar E-Type or a contemporary.

The vehicle following your tastes: Lamborghini Diablo.

Out of the cars listed in this thread R8 would probably be my pic.
It is a much nicer and refined city car than even the 997 IMO (let alone R35 GTR) and holds its own on the track which can't be said for a few of the cars listed here.
Reasonably drivable year round too, and definitely a pussy magnet.

can't get a gallardo for $80k yet... otherwise that would be at the top of my list... I would like to get a convertible instead of a coupe for sure... as far as an R8, it's sure a great looking car, but around here they are fairly common, still a great car though

Get a Lotus Exige, Elise, or Evora.

Test drive one first and see if you like them.

They are like large go-karts (the Elise) and the exhaust note on the Evora is very, very sexy (and loud).

The Evora is a little more than 80k, but the Elise and Exige is well below 80k.

The Evora has only 3 or 4 driven in BC (ref. Kai from LoV).

Or, the Audi R8 looks good as well, but the V8 version at 80k will have quite some miles/kms on it, I would assume.

Why not just get a different $10k car for each day of the week (and two for Sunday)?

Hmmm some ideas that haven't been thrown out yet:

Bentley Continental GT or Continental Flying Spur

1967-1968 Ford Mustang (Eleanor)

Personally I would go with an Aston though

Those bentleys would be about as fun to drive as buying yourself a limo to drive yourself around in.

That's why you need bodykit

lol you're looking for a pussy magnet? the kind of girls you'll pull with a nice car aren't the ones worth keeping. if you're just gonna pull gold diggers with an 80k car, why dont you just spend that 80k directly on whores and skip the car. just being honest.
