Porsche 356 (and I don't care if it's a rep)
-simple, fun, they stand out in a crowd, it's a driver's car, sexy as fuck, way under your budget

I love them all, they personify beauty, elegance, and are a gentlemen's choice. Role up in one, and you'll undoubtedly impress any lady with class and any man with a genuine automotive appreciation.

| IF arousing the fairer sex is really that high on the priority list.. only go with cars with flat plane crankshafts ala Ferrari and Maserati V8 (well you can count Lotus Espirit in too). It has been proven to arouse them better!
Maintenance be damned.. get a 430 or newer which uses chains.. problem solved. Women turn on to a throbbing Maserati ? The Register |

my suggestion would be this:
a ford raptor is well below your budget new or used. you can do your weekend warrior shit with it and still cruise around town. its shit loads of fun and where the pavement ends it'll keep on goin.
if i had 80k to spend on a weekend car it'd be this with a few high powered rifles and cases of ammunition.
it'll be fun in all seasons and if you need more power you can supercharge it with a few other tidbits.
besides, if you need a nice car to get laid then well.... | A buddy of mine has been all up on raptors since day one. I bought a dodge, he said I should have bought a raptor. He buys an sti, wishes he bought a raptor. Queue 2-3 weeks ago where he decides to trade his sti in on a truck. Whats the first thing he drives? A raptor. What did he buy? Ecoboost fx4 f-150. He essentially hated the raptor. If you want to blast washboard roads, good choice. Chances are you never will because you own the thing and have to pay for repairs. Get an aston.

local trips with a few runs on harrison west to pemby, sloquet and clear creek as well as up elaho and squamish. also trips to whipsaw in the summer.
if i had longer vacation time i'd take it down to moab and baja and have as much fun with this thing as possible.
the eco-boost fx4 is a much better choice if i was going to DD the truck but if this was just for weekends i'd take a raptor any day of the week. |

i got the girl of my dreams w/o a car or money. Now i have a car AND money. Things worked out i guess. Point is if you need a car to get a girl you probably just have a small dick and girls just aren't attracted to you.

I wouldn't really touch $80k Aston, Viper or any other exotics because it's buyer beware with most of these cars at this price range. And there's too many super exciting cars for $80k brand new, maybe a C63 coupe or like a RS5 if your budget is $80k without taxes?

^ Nice Setup. Once it's in the water, your welcome to invite me
Personally, i'd go for a classic. Nothing like an E-type or that Porsche Speedster above. Nothing but class. I've been eyeing up a few myself.

Um, Id ditch buying a car and build a well for a village without water in some impoverished part of the world... or for 80g's you could probably help build 2 or 3.... Think of the way it would change so many peoples lives.. makes me feel all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it... But hey if it is a mode of transportation how about this one?

Can you get a good second gen 997 Porsche Turbo for $80k? That would be my choice. Great mix of performance, elegance, style, refinement, and prestige. Sure they are sorta common since they are a 911, but who cares when you're driving it. or get an earlier 997 Turbo and throw some simple mods at it

a NA1 NSX Type-R with 66k kms was sold on auction for $65K
for $80k it's possible to import an iconic mid-engine supercar that's more elusive than the Ferrari Enzo/Lexus LFA...real dick magnet too

First mistake you have made so far is you bought a Powerstroke.
Second mistake is you are asking the general public on a forum about how to spend your 80 thousand dollars. Go test drive some cars and report back to us on how you felt actually sitting in the car.
Instead of 'Hey bro, say i hypothetically have 80k to buy a car that will get my lonely ass in bed with a female, what should i get?'

Almost 300k kms on my truck and all i hear is Cummins
Pretty sure his truck is a 6.4L, which is out sourced and not fully built by ford. But none the less stock compound turbo's and the ability of making 500+ rwhp with just a couple small things is sweet. Just can not say i would own one.
