I don't know why I even bother coming out anymore. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this shit now.

I don't know why people have so much trouble being normal at meets... There was a f350 drifting around also. A crown Vic driving like an idiot and a 1st Gen rx7 revving a bunch and chilling with his light bar on... Cool you had 200$ to spend on a light bar.. No one is impressed that you can blind them. Although asides these people the meet was really good! Always happy when RS members recognize my car and come to chat!

Are you surprised? There is a crap ton of people at the meet. At big local meets like this, idiots revving, drifting and doing burnouts is bound to happen. The OP should be edited, "no burnouts, drifting etc." It's all looked down upon, by the car enthusiasts, and the public.

I am surprised. I think it's a given, and it's been repeated many times in the thread, facebook group, and just on revscene in general..
imo, these meets have gotten perpetually worse in terms of the idiotic behaviour that goes on.
I've attended quite a few Byrne meets the last few years and I've never seen such disregard for the police and general public (shoppers at the mall) than I did tonight. From the attempted burnouts in front of tims and London drugs to the huge truck hauling ass around the lot.
As for the story about the cop pulling cars over...
It basically started with a red mustang convertible attempting a burnout right in front of the busy Tim's entrance with a cop car 1 car behind him. As the officer rolled by with his window down, he looked at us in disbelief and said, "He couldn't be this stupid." and proceeded to follow them on their way out while they were still trying to peel out.
good job on that guy that sold stuff but i dont want to see it happen anymore. we already got a bunch of retards burning out and doing stupid shit that is hard to control.. dont need more reasons for the cops to come bug us about
we've repeated many times, called non-emergency line, and watched quite a few dumbasses get pulled over by the police. it just doesn't really get to those guys. if they wanted to listen, they would..
Didn't go this week but enjoyed last week.
It's a minority group being idiots so maybe we should just start paying attention to the weekly idiots and as soon as they're seen take down license plate and call non emerg line to give them heads up and to maybe send a patrol car by? It seems like police are there anyways so maybe if we give them a heads up on to watch out for

No, the red f350 was completly fine and it sounded really nice, it was some black f350
At first I liked the crown Vic... Until I hated the owner of it.
X2 that red super duty sounded awesome, I walked up to check out that black one when it arrived and it was instantly surrounded by buddy guys... I turned and walked away, I'm new to the vancity car community, no need to give myself a bad name by Being seen with these ass clowns
Seems like just one huge group of clowns, hell bent on getting us thrown out of this location or giving us all a bad name.

No these meets will not be moving locations, just continue to be respectful and continue to try and teach others to do the same. Hopefully these dumbasses learn how to be civilized sooner rather than later, but if not we will continue to call the non-emergency line and the cops will continue to patrol and ticket them.
