Pls Recommend a Tracking Recovery System

i don't drive a GM/lexus/euro that has built in tracking system from factory

I would like to know what my options are in terms of 3rd party radio/GPS tracking systems.

there used to be a sponsor here called total visage...they went belly up..I even recall a member asking what happens to your support when you guys go bankrupt

I just contacted LoJack and they only cover QC/ON in Canada.

Thanks

COMPUSTAR has drone mobile an is available from a number of RS sponsors. Also Compustar has been around for a long time and is pretty much the #1 car alarm company so the chances of it going up are slim.

How about sticking an old android phone in the car somewhere with cerberus enabled? then you can track it from your PC.

then you need to hook it up so it gets power... haha otherwise it will be dead the next day... and without a data plan, GPS tracking would take a heck of a long time to track/lockon... lol

sweet I have an older compustar 2-way kicking around...hope it's compatible. Wonder how accurate it is and whether or not it's only GPS and no radio (i recall without radio you lose signal underground/in a container etc)

I've actually thought about it since I've Cerberus

1. phone that has GPS working without data
2. needs a power source
3. needs to be hidden
4. questionable accuracy?
5. signal penetration might be weak
