Autociety will be hosting a show & shine on July 26th and 27th in downtown Nanaimo, B.C. along with Island Radiators, the DNBIA, and the Queens Hotel during the 2013 Nanaimo Bathtub Festival. This is a free opportunity to showcase your vehicle upon approval of the event organizers along with other competitors from the island.
There will be two separate shows on each day showcasing 75 vehicles competing for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in two categories; best in show vendor’s choice and best in show people’s choice. There will be 6 trophies awarded each day after votes have been tallied from the respective voters.
Other prizes will be drawn for vehicles entries such as photo shoots from Velocity North Performance Photography, Swag from Autociety, and other amazing prizes donated from the generosity of Nanaimo Businesses.
The show & shine on the 26th will occur from 10am-5pm and show case the first 75 cars. On the 27th, the second round of cars will be showcased from 10am until the conclusion of the annual fireworks show. The cars will be parked along Victoria Crescent starting form Acme Food Co and ending at the Cambie hostel.
All makes/models/years are welcome. Due to the limited space available, we are reserving the spots for show vehicles only. Next year we have another location that will accommodate 300+ cars for everyone to enter.
