seen quite a few of those tauruses in rmd lately. Looks odd in the white IMO...
Im much more intimidated by looking at a Charger, it gives me the same fear when I see a crown vic, makes me give it a second look to confirm if its a cop car or not.

How many have you seen? There is currently only ONE in all of Richmond lol. You must be seeing the same one.
Seems like a lot of young ppl are driving ex-police crown vics lately.. always slow down when I notice the black wheels and a couple of times now it's some young dude with his hat backwards cruising by

lol that 'meet' pic with the new Taurus is pretty awesome
Yeah tell me about it...there's always a Mercury Grand Marquis parked at the hill coming up Renfrew and 22nd Ave...I always drive 50 on the dot passing it thinking it's a speed trap around the bend
Keep in mind that all the police departments looking to upgrade from the Crown Vics (which would be all of them since Ford discontinued the line) all have been (or will be) testing out various makes and models of police cruisers. I'm not sure if VPD is the only police department that has settled on a model but don't be surprised if you see a Charger or a Caprice in RCMP/Delta/New West/etc. livery. They're probably just "sample" vehicles decked out so that the police departments can do their evaluation.
I'd think that most of the local municipal police departments will follow the VPD's lead with the Chargers though. You might see the Tauruses with the RCMP as outside of the Lower Mainalnd, that AWD would come in pretty handy in winter.
I actually saw one in ghost car form somewhere on the Coquihalla. It surprisingly looked pretty sick, especially since this one was a dark grey with the push bar on it.
