Saw an Infiniti Q50

This afternoon I saw a grey coloured Infiniti Q50 on the road. I thought the launch date is August 5th.

Dealers on the west coast got early deliveries on the Q50. Not allowed for sale/test drive (can request via appointment) until August according to the salesperson I spoke to when I looked at the car.

I still think Nissan was making much better sedans back in 1990s.

Nissan Primera

Nissan Bluebird

Nissan Cedric

Nissan Gloria

Nissan Cima

Nissan President

Nissan Laurer

Nissan Laopard

Nissan Skyline

what is with nissan and giving us cars... and not letting us deliver them

I have the same problem with that Versa note. Test drives, yes. Deliveries are no.

yeah that's pretty fucking stupid.

when they say no to customers, they'll find something else...like Mazda 2, Honda Fit, Chevy Sonic, etc.

That Versa Note is a slick little car. I would so buy one if the put the Juke's turbo engine in it as like an SE-R version.

What's with all these car manufacturers copying each others "signature" grills. They almost looks like on the new Lexus' with the pinched nose...

Lexus does start a lot styling trends...

Not limited to the spindle grill, but Altezza taillights, integrated exhaust on bumper, etc.

Look at European and American cars too, they're all copying Lexus' design cue.

Actually, Infiniti had that grille design before Lexus... Just that Lexus was smart enough to take the grille and put it on a production car before Infiniti did. Infiniti is 1-2 years late releasing their newest models. 2003-2007 was G35, the G37 should have ended in 2011 or 2012.

2008 Infiniti concept:

I don't know about you guys, but I'd certainly not confuse a Mazda 6 with a Q50. Maybe it's the angle of the image, but it definitely pulls some styling cues from the R35.
