| Ipod in water
Dropped ipod in water, left it overnight in rice, turned it on now screen looks white and it's flickering, audio is constantly returning to no sound if you try to turn the music up.
Help?

It would have been ideal that you left it in the rice/warm area longer for it to dry off.
Seeing as you already turned it out, you would have shorted any areas that were still wet. There isn't really much you can do right now. You could try to put it back into the rice for another day and then do a hard reset and hope for the best.

yeah, I would have left it in rice for a week before attempting to turn it on. Good luck I hope it works out for you!

The best way is to put it into a jar and then use a vacuum pump to remove the air. That'll boil off any moisture pretty quickly (compared to rice or silica gel).
Most mechanics will have a vacuum pump (like a Mighty Vac) so they're not hard to find.
