about mid way down.

thats pretty much what it looks like every time i've gone.

its like stave or hale during grad season.

edit:

also, my 2 cents are, if a consensus was made and a destination chosen then it should be stuck with. changing locations on a whim is annoying. if there was a legit reason for a change in venue like the closure of the forest service road or whatever then fair enough.

elaho/squish valley is a good day out and alot more fun than chilliwack valley. i've driven up folley, chipmunk and the entire length of the chilliwack fsr. gets boring. great views but gets boring. more of a sunday drive with the wife type place.

For what it's worth, I've taken my slammed Accord out to Foley Lake a few times now. It's not a fast drive but I made it without any issues. I know this is supposed to be a stock and noob meet but I think it might be a little too basic.

Was hoping more for Elaho or something a little harder. :okay: Lots of good FSR's out past Hope... :fullofwin:

ok...well to make things alot easier...whoever is going to meet up with pinoydrifta/R&R/I we can all meet at a universal area to make things easier for all of us...there is a chevron on boundary just before grandview:

meet at the chevron (3030 boundary road) at 0730 then convoy out to meet the rest of the group at 0900

emtee_23 08-07-2013 12:13 PM

I was planning on brining my bbq too and smokies and burgers..

Soundy 08-07-2013 12:42 PM

I'll have to skip this - forgot I had a prior commitment for the 18th.

Why the @#*& does everyone insist on doing long wheeling drives on SUNDAYS??? I'm always so bagged by the time I get home, and I have to work the next day :P I'm OLD, dammit! :lawl:

emtee_23 08-07-2013 01:46 PM

Cuz sunday is the day the mrs is at work while i go out and play with the jeep..haha and if i did it on a saturday (knowing its all fsr) shes gonna want to drive it/learn how to drive manual...NO thankyou! gotta show her the ropes on pavement FIRST!

Brianrietta 08-07-2013 06:41 PM

Going to be no shortage of BBQ's :fullofwin: I think I'm coming out from Ross Lake that morning so it'll be a really long day.. Should be fun though.

So the general meeting is at 9am, roughly how long of a trek is this? As in, what time do we expect to hit the main roads on the way back home?

Need to do some time management on my end…..

This is an all day thing General meet is at 0900 probably leave for the trail at no later than 0945 or sooner then head into the trails. We could be back on main roads by late afternoon early evening.
