Summer + dirty feet

During the summer I tend to wear sandals at every possible chance that I can.

So a LOT of dirt n shit gets stuck to my feet, so much that my toenails get all scratched up and get a bit darker than normal.

When I shower I scrub them, but it doesn't seem to do a good enough job.

Any thing I can do at home to give them a better clean? Soak them in soapy water for a while then scrub the shit out of them?? Soak in water + ??? Or anything else I can do?

This.

It'll help them soften up too, if you have any calluses from your sandals/being barefoot.
