Spend an extra 100 bucks on rent if you have to to get close to your college, and spend a couple hundred on craigslist for a decent 10 speed. A few packs of bus tickets for the days its raining or you feel like shit and you are golden. |
ya if you live near decent transportation you don't need a car, making your college life a little easier. had a car 1 year and public transit the years after that when i was in school. car was 'nice' but really goes underutilized. definite waste of $ IMO if you live by school/decent transit |
