2014 Lexus IS Vs 2014 Infiniti Q50
 

Hi all! I just wana gather some opinions on these two new model cars for 2014.

The IS350 vs Q50

Which would you get and why?

for me its the infiniti, better exterior styling (previous lexus styling was nicer), interior flows more rather that feeling boxy, interior should "wrap" around you with a cockpit feel. probably same plush leather feel, but parts, labor, and servicing is gonna be cheaper on the infiniti. infiniti seems like it has larger wheel wells and could fit wider wheels for a more aggressive stance. infiniti has more power, but it seems lexus is lighter with a better fuel efficiency

I agree, from an aesthetic point of view, I prefer the exterior and interior of the Q50.

I think the new lexus handsdown:ahwow: saw both in person and the front is stunning looking, the infiniti translate better on picture

Definitely the IS. The Infiniti looks like a rebranded Mazda 6 from the outside.

I'd go with the IS just based on the pictures. Bolder design and its supposed to drive well too.

Interior on the Toyota already looks a bit dated. Q50 has a more premium feel.

Which dealer is that at?

IS, because i find it sportier, if that's what you're after.

Right now Q50. The looks of the new IS has not grown on me. Interior is a bit of a toss up. Infiniti's very classy though I do like the busyness on the new IS

Without test driving either, I would take the IS based on the MUCH better interior IMO. The Infiniti's interior looks like it's for the retired or those nearing retirement age: luxurious yes, but no sporting pretentions at all.

I do like the exterior of the Q50 more though.

I would go with the lexus. Looks better in general

IS for me. If I wanted a car that looked like a Mazda 6, I'd get a Mazda 6.

had a IS Fsport come into our shop a few days ago... SO NICE!

Neither. Hate the Q50 interior and can't stand the IS's ugly face.

But if I had to choose, it would be the IS. Its clean cut, bold lines and sporty, modern interior really do it for me over the Q50's severely dated interior and confusing exterior styling.

Maybe it's because I can't get over the fact that the Q50 interior looks way too similar to the Hyundai Sonata, or vice versa...the centre stack at least

In the end, the IS wins because it's individualistic and unique, whereas the same can't be said for the Q50 IMO.

Q50! Its got that shark look from the FX, i think it looks awesome

WTF is going on with all the pinched noses coming out? They look terrible... Acura shield terrible.

go with the lexus, i sat in the q50 and they all feel just ok in my opinion.

IS f-sport just cuz that LFA style guage... and if u can wait, definitely wait for the coupe or ISF coupe...
