"they" don't. There are bad apples in every field. I'm sure there are plenty of chiros that do that shit, but there are plenty that know their place in the health care field, and do it well. You can't paint them all with the same brush.

A colleague's wife went to maybe 2 or 3 other chiropractors before finding one she liked and actually helped. So yes, there can be some hokey ones out there (or whatever reason it may be) and there are some excellent ones.

I am not painting a negative picture of them. I personally go to chiropractors and believe it works. I was just explaining how the title of "doctor" may have came about for chiropractors. Possibly the same way how anyone with a doctorates degree can be called dr instead of mr or mrs.
