Did you buy anything in the States and bring it back?
I have a US$300 LEGO set enroute to Point Roberts and will accept having to pay tax, but if I also get charged some extra tariff that’s gonna suck!

The grocery store in Point Roberts is offering 1.20 exchange rate to get Canadians to go and support them. Gonna take a bit more than that to get people to cross the border to shop there!

Majority of the spend were in three categories - Clothes/accessories, food/groceries (Trader Joe’s etc.) and the bulk of it were car parts for my upcoming track day.
The CBSA agents was writing something up and we had all receipts in hand. I think he gave up after we said groceries and let us go. We were 100% prepared to pay all taxes, duty, and whatever tariff there would be.

I’ve had a few items shipped up recently from preorders that had come to fruition and there’s been a “special assessment fee” tacked on top of the usual clearance fees and GST.
