Like Maxx said above, it depends on who you know. Every workplace has its share of passionate people, good people, "okay" people, and people who shouldn't be allowed to hold a job, ever.
I have a fair amount of friends who work/worked at BJBMW, and if you're looking for a good service advisor talk to Jordan who works at the main dealer. Super polite, knowledgeable, no pressure and is generally nice as long as you're not ridiculously unreasonable or come in there acting as though the dealer is to blame because you can't afford to maintain a luxury European car...
Just remember, you gotta pay to play. Don't bother asking for a $20 oil change, cuz that's not happening. Likewise, the sheer amount of electronic/mechanical/servotronic/black magic wizardry in newer vehicles means that proper diagnosis won't happen as fast it it does on your '00 Civic.
