Moto X |
I know the rumours pointing the Nexus 5 to base off this device but this already pretty similar to the Galaxy Nexus and Neus 4 all in all...you can tell Moto is going in a pretty good direction since Google's acquisition |
I really wish they didn't use AMOLED. |
can't afford a dual core phone for $550 |

I wish they have their motox phone builder available (is it? cant seem to find it) wouldn't mind making a custom one |
moto maker is only available in the states on at&t right now. supposed to be rolled out internationally some time this fall. |

Never had screen burn in problems before and I've gone through tons of amoled phones. I don't think its anything to really worry about. Moto X doesn't interest me much. Nothing special about the hardware really. But nice to see Google finally having influence on their phones. |

I wouldn't mind trying one as long as price is the same as the N4... but $500 seems a bit too much. |

should be cheaper then the N4... I think N4 is a better phone... |
IMO moto x was a step backwards. |
Moto X is all about the software really. |
Moto builder really caught my attention. Would buy one just for the custom wood back. Have been looking for that on a phone for a while. Tired of plastic and metal. |
^^^^ same thing that caught my eye as well i love it when wood/leathers are worked in with metals especially in tech devices |
Google is finally getting motorola only a good track.. but its taking a long time... |

Google subsidzed the Nexus devices...may be they should've done the same for Moto X? |
Wonder if Wind will carry it once Roger's exclusive dibs is over (want to make use of the windtab) |
I have been using the Moto X since the Rogers launch and I am very impressed. My previous device was the Galaxy Note 2 and this phone is imo better in every way except the camera and battery life. The camera is still decent but colors aren't as nice as the gn2. This is the snappiest phone I have ever owned. No slow downs so far. Battery life is pretty amazing. Not as good as the note 2 but it lasts me a whole day with 3-4 hours screen on time. Pretty much stock android with a few tweaks. The voice control is 100% accurate and quick, moto assist works pretty good too. It detects when I'm in my car and reads texts and auto replies I'm driving for missed calls. This is the most comfortable phone I have ever held. It's the prefect size. I can't live without the dimple in the back! Perfectly placed and such a small feature yet it makes or breaks the way it feels in your hand. I just got a case for the phone and it came off after 10 minutes because it blocks the dimple. :P Everyone is giving the phone such a hard time or not willing to try it due to 'bad' specs. I was reluctant too but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My games run smoother and faster on the Moto X than on my Note 2 (so does everything else). Everything about the phone is iPhone smooth. Pretty amazing. My only regret is me not having the willpower to wait for the 32GB model. I've been through a few nexus devices and I always gave up on them due to bugs. Sure you get the latest updates first but they're always so buggy. Every update breaks something. All the nexus devices have the worst cameras too. I'd rather get updates later but with no bugs and let the other nexus owners beta test for me. Having used a nexus 4 imo it isn't better than the Moto X. N4 not as comfortable to hold, I think the screen is not as good (I like amoled), can't get the n4 to last a whole day without top up charge, no LTE (I know you can enable via hidden menu but it destroyed the battery life), doesn't feel as quick or snappy |

Nexus 4 is now $199 outright...ouch Google is gonna cannibalize Moto's sale figures |
Nexus 4 has spoiled me, especially with the new price. Can't justify paying more than double for slightly better usability; knowing that it goes in the junker in likely 2 years. |
