On a serious note, I have over 200g of ALAC music which I would like to carry with me between cars and homes, not to mention apps are getting larger in size and from what I read, N3 does 4k vids so even 64g will go fast.

I'm hearing conflicting reports of late sep to early oct but zero guidance from samsung.

Rumour is Telus is releasing it on Oct. 4th so I assume Rogers and Bell won't be too far behind.

There will initially be two versions. One with a 2.3GHz quad-core LTE processor and another with a 1.9GHz octa-core 3G processor. There will also be a model that's apparently 30% cheaper coming out in November(?).

BTW those of you who own N2s from Robellus, do they come with GarbageWare pre-installed? I know you can hack/root to another FW but will loose the Stylus features (Which is half the reason for the N3).

i dunno when i got my s4 from bell.. i popped in a rogers sim card and it downloaded all the rogers crap on there by itself.. when i have a bell sim card all the bell shits are on there..

We probably will only get the 32gb which is fine with me as I have a 64gb SD Card.

Sorry I meant different band versions. Are we getting a Robellus version and a Wind/Mobilicity version or one that is interchangeable between all Canadian carriers?

There are ROMs that keeps the S-pen features + a lot more other features and doesn't have any bloatware. You can also just root your phone and delete those apps yourself.

Samsung rep came by my store and I got to feel the N3. Obviously he said that it was just a production model and not the final product but of course if its in his hands then I assume its already the final product.

Feels lighter and S pen in much more fluid with the new 4.3 OS. DPI is also a great plus with the new screen, colours are much more vibrant and popping up feel. Many people think that a 5.5 inch phone is already quite big but if you think about it its about the right size. I myself have an S4 with 5 inch screen and reading is on it is just right or even watching videos. Honestly once you go big screen, you never go back. Yes, its quite bulky in tight pants, but if you have lets say some straight jeans it would fit just perfectly in your pocket (this is why hongers never get big phones and go Apple). Overall I believe the N3 purpose is to expand that 1-2 year phone life span.

So tempted to get the N3 and sell my S4 but i've only had my S4 for like 3-4 months.

Don't know about the 64gb yet. WIND I think is starting with just the 32gb 3G model. Their prices btw (obviously may not hold true on Oct 4th):
Samsung also includes their own bloatware.

The 3G and 4G versions have different bands. I don't know if they'll be interchangeable since different sites say different bands. I know WIND is selling the 3G version and the big carriers will be selling the 4G one.

If you go to the Samsung store, some employees already have the Note 3 and they might let you take a look at it (because it's their own personal phone) if you ask about it. They're ecstatic about it!

I just had my iPhone replaced 2 days ago :okay: gonna hold off for another two months though so my contract ends and hope for a sale or promo. If you want to sell the S4, you should do it soon if you want the best resale value.

Thinking about making the switch to android from bb.. seeing as bbm is going all platforms...

I wanna swap from note 2 to note 3, do you guys just keep a beater phone around?

Or do you wait for it to release, then sell your old phone? Does it really matter?
