i think the admission price (like $35?) is worth it just to be in the presence of the MC12 and Pagani...that said the italian car show during father's day is a nice alternative
its $50 for admission $100 for VIP (50 with a coupon code) they raised it i believe from last year
my GF wants to go just to meet Reiko (ex- housewives of Vancouver) @@
For what? She's good for nothing. She was boring on the show and probably is not much w/o a guy that has money. I would rather meet Snooki or Jwow, and i can't stand those famous for nothing whores! then again i'm not a girl.
As promised here is Part 1 of my visit to the show. It was a good show overall but I agree with some of you and I think that $50 is a bit steep. $20 at most is what the regular price ticket should be.
As for the star attraction (Pagani Huayra), this is the 3rd different Pagani that I've seen in my life with my own eyes and the details are amazing but it doesn't have the same presence as the Zonda did. In a field of supercars, the Huayra just looks bland.

Funny, I thought the exact opposite. I've absolutely despised the looks of that car from the first time I saw it, and time has only made it worse. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though.
That carrera GT is a little more my flavour.

You're among the majority. Let's not forget, the SLR was a spectacular failure. Mercedes-McLaren ceased production early and had trouble unloading the units they'd already produced.
From what I remember the Pagani is a factory car and is going on tour, it's headed to Toronto after today. The Pfaff Auto Group based in Toronto (Who also owns McLaren Vancouver) is the only dealer group in Canada authorized to sell the Huayra, and hopefully someone in Vancouver picks one up!
Confirmed about Pfaff.
Wilson Ng (formerly sales manager of Audi of Richmond when I first met him) from Pfaff did an interview on the Pagani in the show in the media preview.

He also put on a rev show for the camera of that housewive lady using the orange MP4 spider
btw, any chance you parked beside those two white 911's and the RS2? I recall seeing a red RS5 entering the lot around the same time I took a photo of the 3 lol
The only issue I have with the SLR is that it's unproportionally long.
Maybe if it had a smaller engine, it would have looked nicer.
The vents on the fender didn't make it look appealing either.
The styling of it otherwise is pretty good.

Well theres not enough car modding companies to cater to every rich person with awful taste fast enough, so I guess technically, yes we do. Don't forget though, they will pick out a set of wheels for you and charge you double what you could have ordered them for as well.

Yeah MM-Designs only nails the Rich C-Lai demographic, there is other rich people who want gaudy looking cars too...

Yes, the blue RS2 Avant looked HOT!
The 2 911's had the "997 ###" plates.
Saw a black/dark gray (I think) from 20 spots away 3 series BMW come out of that 4th spot, head first... and I was like WOOHOO while praying it was not a reserved spot, since it was so close to the entrance).
And, near that RS2 Avant was icing on the cake.
I was lucky enough to park right beside the right-side white 911, after waiting 10 minutes for ANY spot.

Was that RS2 at the RS spring meet? I think I recall seeing it there.

When something looks awful and you call it awful, its not "hating." Awful just an adjective. I'm not jealous nor do I hate the 458 in town with beautiful HRE wheels, but I do hate the ones that look like homer simpson shot them with a make up gun full of vinyl graphics. It has nothing to do with money and everything to do with looking like shit.
