I believe they use UPS as their shipping carrier, so you MAY not have to pay duties if it's coming from the states. But again, I've heard this only works for their express shipping.

i dont think there is brokerage fee, all nexus 4 from US never charged brokerage

I noticed that a lot of people don't realize that the ONLY place to get a cheap Nexus phone is from Google directly. It is a $500-600 phone. Google is selling it subsidized for $350-$400 in 10 countries, none of which are HK or China. If you go anywhere else, it is still a $500-600 phone.

BTW the N4 was never sold in HK or China by Google directly. It was sold in retail stores for around $3300 for the 16GB version at cheapest ($430)
I am going to buy it from the play store just wondering if it will work in HK/China that's all.

crap... gona hold out on cases and screen protector until I get the email about my phone being shipped out.. no point ordering it when no email confirming it shipped...

Edit: Now that I think of it, it will actually help me tell which end is the 'top' of the phone... with the N4 a lot of the time I end up holding it upside down before going to turn it on

ordered mine yesterday and says will be shipped 4-5weeks fuuuuaaarrk! hopefully sooner the better! first android phone I'm getting coming from an iphone 5 can't wait to take it for a test drive..
