Got mine from my mailbox in the US today. Definitely a slick looking phone. Build quality feels quite good - on par with the previous Nexus 4 and definitely feels "nicer" than my S4. I like the slightly rubberized texture of the back and sides - feels grippy and won't slip around like the Nexus 4 did. Only problem I see is that it'll pick up oily fingerprints fairly easily though.

Overall, I think all you guys that got in on the Nexus 5 will be impressed. It's a nice piece of hardware and I'm seriously considering using it over my S4. (mainly because I don't use all the fancy ass features of the S4 and like the simple and fast interface of the pure Android OS)

is the interface similiar to htc phones? My htc broke and im seriously considering to buy this phone because its such a cheap phone. Which leads me on to anouther question...why is the nexus so cheap compared to iphone/galaxy/htc one and etc?

All the Nexus phones are pure Android - no skins or fancy UI on top of them so the short answer is not really. Samsung (TouchWiz) and HTC (SenseUI) both have their own enhancements to the interface to give it more eye candy. Looks nice but most of the time has some sort of performance ramifcations.

Anyone interested in a Spigen Ultra Hybrid? Will let go for $10 ($14 after tax + shipping), thinking of getting a Neo Hybrid or a Diztronic TPU instead

Does it come with the screen protector? will be interested if so.

I sold my s4 and bought an n4. The only thing I miss from my s4 was the s view flip cover. I can't wait until I receive my n5.

Saw some reviews the phone overall is good but 4.4 isn't as much of an upgrade as peopel though. The battery is pretty decent but when compare the camera to Samsung S4 iphone5s HTC it seems lacking. It decent but not great pictures do look a bit wash out.

The camera is made like this to keep prices down. Sure go buy a s4 for double the price over nexus 5, but the nexus 5 trumps the s4 in almost every test.

I couldn't give less shits how good the camera is. The camera on a phone is only going to be used for random pictures you'll never look at again, food pics, animal pics and dumb shit you see every day.

As long as it gets the image, I can put a stupid filter on it and post it on instagram I'm happy.

Clearly not representative of everyone else's use of camera but really.. so much nit picking about cameras. I'm so happy they cheaped out on the camera so I can get a high end phone for half the going rate.

I'm happy the camera is atleast better than the N4

You cant expect all the goodies for such a low price... even iPhone and Samsung Galaxy has flaws and they are almost double the price...
