Customs?

Mines left hodgkins on the 5 th, no update yet.

Anyone know how much bigger those "air cushion" cases are compared to the slim ones? I'm looking for something that doesn't add that much bulk but the air cushion thing is intriguing.

These stupid ass drop tests are really dumb. Spend $400 on a phone, first thing they're going to do is drop it (in uncontrolled environments) until it breaks.

Waiting for a physical warehouse scan. Going to just going to pick it up at their warehouse in Richmond later tonight.

Last time I called and it was all good and they said come by... then literally 20 mins before I left, they were like sorry can't do it anymore...

I thought you had to wait for one delivery attempt before you can pick up from their warehouse?

I just called them about half an hour ago, once it clears warehouse scan I can request a pickup, and pick it up before closing tonight. But like Not really racist said, UPS isn't known for being good with pickups.

Only doing this because no one will be home to pick up the phone tomorrow.

Edit: Does anyone know if the UPS website will show if a package has gone through warehouse scan? I have never seen that before and I haven't seen anything like that for other warehouses.

just called them and the lady on the phone said that it's still in the states but slated to reach the Richmond office tomorrow and expected to be delivered on the 12th.

I asked her if I could just pick it up tomorrow but she said I could only pick it up if there it was confirmed that I missed the delivery.

Is that UPS? Because if I needed something urgently, I would tell them to hold it at the office and I'd pick it up myself. Sometimes I even did the customs myself to save on their ridiculous brokerage fees.

I think from Hodgkins to Spokane it's just super far and from what I've seen from other people's shipping, the drive is usually 2 days so it seems "stuck". Mine is at Spokane now after 2 days.

Wasn't able to get mine today. They told me it still hasn't gone through a warehouse scan. After 5 minutes of waiting on the phone I was told it was too late to request a pickup.

Guess I'll just have to hope someone is home tomorrow.

Never mind, apparently the shipment isn't actually in Richmond...It's somewhere in Vancouver. This is retarded since I won't be home for the next day or two.

Uh oh. They might just leave it in front of your door without ringing the door bell. UPS did that with my Nexus 4. Best you keep checking the tracking number and ask a friend to come by your place and pick it up before someone else does. I'll volunteer to be said friend =D

Correct. Hodgkins to Spokane is 1 leg so you're not going to get any updates in between. Mine arrived in richmond 5am. Due for delivery by end of day tomorrow.

Also the rattle could be the OIS of the camera.

How are you guys getting destination scan already? They told me to try calling them tomorrow morning and to stop it from being shipped out. I'm hoping they either deliver it before 5pm tomorrow, or I go pick it up in Richmond noon tomorrow.

Edit: Holy fuck, my package has somehow gone from richmond, to vancouver, to on transit back to richmond, to now somewhere in the united states.

Fuck you UPS.
