Nexus 5 service manual leaked
Purported Service Manual Gives A Look At The Next Nexus Phone, Reveals 32GB Storage, 8MP OIS Camera, Photos, And More

Any rumours on pricing?

FerrariEnzo 10-05-2013 11:05 PM

Techradar had a guess it would be around $450 for the 16gb

SkinnyPupp 10-06-2013 12:03 AM

Anything would be a guess right now, because we don't know how much Google will subsidize it. The N4 was sold for at least $200-300 less than it 'should' have been.

Razor Ramon HG 10-06-2013 04:10 AM

Reported to have a 2300mAh battery..

FerrariEnzo 10-06-2013 07:35 AM

if its prices under $400, then its a steal and I would definitely order one and sell off my N4..

Mr.HappySilp 10-06-2013 04:31 PM

Might get one to replace my note2 is price is the same as the N4.

twitchyzero 10-06-2013 06:09 PM

2300mAh

something tells me battery is gonna suck with 1080p and LTE.
similar phones sporting the S800 SoC seem to be 2600-3000mAh

Google Hangouts update teased in leaked screenshots, SMS integration incoming

LG Nexus 5 pricing leaks; different battery size for each model

good news?

Purely 10-07-2013 10:31 PM

I would be down for $299 16gb version.

Mr.HappySilp 10-07-2013 11:31 PM

Do you guys think it will be sold out in like Nexus 4? Wanted one so bad. But I think I would wait for a few months first. Anyone remember the first batch of the Nexus 4 having issues.

pizzaMR2 10-07-2013 11:58 PM

Am I the only one that thinks the LG G2 is a better phone? (besides the price advantages of the Nexus 5)

twitchyzero 10-08-2013 12:03 AM

can you CFX with 7970?

!Yaminashi 10-08-2013 07:22 AM

Don't need 32GBs but want larger battery life...

:okay:

!Yaminashi 10-08-2013 08:04 AM

3000 mAh seems quite sufficient.
2300mAh on my HTC one gets me through the day easily. I have 50% left by bed time

Nexus 5 Release Date and Price Disclosed By Japanese Retailer?

According to that link, it'll be on sale Nov 14.

That day can't come soon enough.

So it wouldnt be on sale on the Playstore first... Google wants to sell in both retail and their store at the same time?!?!?

DragonChi 10-08-2013 03:45 PM

about 460 in Japan.

3000 mAH is about 30% more than an N4. If the power requirements are the same, it should last all day with lots of usage.

jlo mein 10-09-2013 10:16 PM

Was looking at getting a Sony Z1 for $800, but this seems much more enticing if the 32GB Nexus 5 is indeed $400.

I just hope the Nexus 5 will be able to use LTE networks in Japan, Korea, and Canada.

It's an approximation, I would wager the N5 battery life would be around that number. Do you have a better way of figuring out what the battery life would be?

Im thinking about getting the Z1 as well but am kind of wanting to wait for the next iteration (hoping for a better camera)

the LG G2 interests me as well but I don't like how they designed the rear of the phone hence why the N5 seems like it will be more appealing

I want to replace my 808 pureview but am hoping for something with a better camera or at the very least "close enough"

(no i dont want a lumia 1020 the camera isnt as good and the OS...yuck)

The Z1 just came out in early September. It will be a while for the next generation.

I believe I've read the LG G2 and Nexus 5 are almost the same, except for the housing design and the G2 has a better camera?

The Nexus 5 is speculated to have a downgraded 8MP camera, although it will include optical image stabilization. For $400, the total package is good enough for me. A $400 price difference between phones is a huge deal, and the specs on the Nexus 5 are damn good compared to top model phones. only deal breakers would be if I can't use it on LTE in Korea and Japan, or availability is nil and release date is pushed far out.
