I have everything on at night and it didn't drain more than 3%. The other thing you could do is buy some NFC tag and set it so when your phone scans it, it shuts off wifi, cel data, BT (basically going into airplane mode except you can still receive calls).
It should help a lot

Turn off Location Reporting and Location History. Google Now still works - in fact I see no difference turning it off as far as functionality goes. Battery life improves a lot. Quote:

Had the same issue on my S2 but it was the volume rocker that would wiggle around. | Loose power button here too. Wiggles around and does not feel as sturdy as the volume buttons. Many complaints on xda about that. There is a YouTube clip on how to fix it but requires you to open up phone. Quote:

Slight wiggle on my power button. My first one was more than my 2nd one. I can live with it since it doesn't bother me.

Yes it was odd because the previous night I only drained 2% over 7 hrs.
I'll see tonight if it's better after finding the rogue app!

OK so another day at work. Getting worse battery life.
The first part of my day was meetings so I wasn't really using the phone but it has a consistent drop in battery life. I've got location on but set to device only (gps) and I've turned google location reporting off. 1 hour of screen time.
Any ideas on the poor battery life. |

My battery life has been like this for the last two days, all on LTE. Very.. weird since it wasn't like this a week ago, and I haven't changed how I use the phone. Currently on faux kernel with cataclysm rom.

I tried out maps today....my god its sloooooooow to route and if it has to re-route you can just forget it! Takes forever! like this is totally unacceptable how slow it is. its instantaneous when i use my Nok but with the N5 it took a good 3 mins to reroute and the re-route solution it came up with was just to pull a u-turn

I've never had a routing that took longer than 2 seconds. Re-routing takes no more than 5 seconds, that's when navigation is on. In my experience Google Maps is the best navigation tool I've ever used...... Posted via RS Mobile |

Did you disable location or wifi location or something?

No nothing was disabled when I used the navi specifically turned on everything including the maps setting of using GPS WiFi data. It was following my location perfectly but I missed a left turn onto king Edward and it began calculating rerouting and never came up with a solution until long after.
I didn't need the navi help mind you was just playing with it and thought Posted via RS Mobile
I'll give it another try tomorrow maybe it just had a brain fart today

Apparently there's a Google play services issue happening now that's draining the battery preventing the device from sleeping however I've yet to see that happen on my phone.
