Everyday that passes I like this case more and more. I think you'll really love it. Unobtrusive, slim, nice feel. Full bezel and side protection, unlike the Spigen Ultra Fit.

A drunk man has already dropped my phone from ~4 feet and thankfully no damage.

4.4 KitKat just released for my Nexus 4, installing now!

Looking forward to maybe seeing some improvements!

And I'll pretend like I have a Nexus 5 until it arrives :derp:

Got the spigen neohybrid and the buttons on the sides are fine. They are not supersensitive at all and you need to push with regular strength to get a response.

let me know if you manage to install messaging app and set as default on 4.4

hangouts is garbage.

Does it make the phone much larger?

I suppose that's all relative. Should you want to meet up, I'd be happy to show you.

I don't find that it's much larger but certainly feels safer in the case.

My nexus 4 started getting that battery drain problem, out of nowhere

:fulloffuck:

I already disabled locations, and the last 12 hours of that is in airplane mode

Drow 11-22-2013 12:22 AM

another victim bites the dust

this is a common problem amongst nexus 4/5 users

for whatever reason there are some applications which drain the hell outta your battery

i had a similar problem with "exchange services" where the default email app would non-stop syncing and resyncing, causing massive amounts of battery drain

SkinnyPupp 11-22-2013 12:24 AM

The apps I installed before this happened were PocketCasts and Final Fantasy V

Tried changing PocketCasts to check for new episodes manually.. let's see if that helps

FerrariEnzo 11-22-2013 05:01 AM

No problems with my phone...

Just curious why you failed me?

!MiKrofT 11-22-2013 09:42 AM

FYI Re battery draining apps: FolderSync is horrible. I scheduled it to sync one folder once a week, and it was running 200 times a day for some reason.

I hibernated it in Greenify and my battery life is quite a bit better.

Also, ttavelling right now and in must say Google Now is awesome. Its crazy how it pulls info on you and feeds you actually useful information in return. Flew down to Seattle and its giving me maps/nav with estimated time to airport, all my flight info with on time/delay updates. Once in Seattle I get sight seeing recommendations in order of distance from airport, and restaurants with hours. Also pulled up local concert/event listings. Pretty impressive.

+1, would like to know too

SkinnyPupp 11-22-2013 03:16 PM

Probably an accidental click, I've done this before

kcl38 11-22-2013 03:49 PM

Got my Diztronic TPU case today. Super happy with it. Minimal styling that go well with the phone and it keeps the phone pretty thin.

Currently at 10%

Interesting the dip in battery life when switched off wifi for a while.

Looks like I finally have all the settings tweaked to fit my needs and max battery life.

!MiKrofT 11-22-2013 03:59 PM

Nice. They have a 2nd version as well with a better aligned camera hole and cleaner molding process on the bottom opening. Took them 5 days to ship mine out so I'm wondering if they started shipping the new ones.

Dayamn. 1ay 17hours?? Did you not use the phone at all? It looks like brief periods of screen on time.

radioman 11-22-2013 04:11 PM

only about 3 hrs of screen time.

This was started Wed. Night and lasted until right now.

So about 16 hours of sleep.

Drow 11-22-2013 06:12 PM

im actually very pleased with the battery life on my n5.

i haven't rooted it yet, everything stock, i leave work with about 75~80% battery left as opposed to my old n4, which was usually 50-60%
