A drunk man has already dropped my phone from ~4 feet and thankfully no damage.

4.4 KitKat just released for my Nexus 4, installing now!
Looking forward to maybe seeing some improvements!
And I'll pretend like I have a Nexus 5 until it arrives

Got the spigen neohybrid and the buttons on the sides are fine. They are not supersensitive at all and you need to push with regular strength to get a response.

I don't find that it's much larger but certainly feels safer in the case.

My nexus 4 started getting that battery drain problem, out of nowhere
I already disabled locations, and the last 12 hours of that is in airplane mode

another victim bites the dust
this is a common problem amongst nexus 4/5 users
for whatever reason there are some applications which drain the hell outta your battery
i had a similar problem with "exchange services" where the default email app would non-stop syncing and resyncing, causing massive amounts of battery drain

The apps I installed before this happened were PocketCasts and Final Fantasy V
Tried changing PocketCasts to check for new episodes manually.. let's see if that helps

FYI Re battery draining apps: FolderSync is horrible. I scheduled it to sync one folder once a week, and it was running 200 times a day for some reason.
I hibernated it in Greenify and my battery life is quite a bit better.
Also, ttavelling right now and in must say Google Now is awesome. Its crazy how it pulls info on you and feeds you actually useful information in return. Flew down to Seattle and its giving me maps/nav with estimated time to airport, all my flight info with on time/delay updates. Once in Seattle I get sight seeing recommendations in order of distance from airport, and restaurants with hours. Also pulled up local concert/event listings. Pretty impressive. Got my Diztronic TPU case today. Super happy with it. Minimal styling that go well with the phone and it keeps the phone pretty thin.

Currently at 10%
Interesting the dip in battery life when switched off wifi for a while.
Looks like I finally have all the settings tweaked to fit my needs and max battery life.

Nice. They have a 2nd version as well with a better aligned camera hole and cleaner molding process on the bottom opening. Took them 5 days to ship mine out so I'm wondering if they started shipping the new ones.

im actually very pleased with the battery life on my n5.
i haven't rooted it yet, everything stock, i leave work with about 75~80% battery left as opposed to my old n4, which was usually 50-60% |
