seeing these weird marks as well lol

I might actually use the template and print out a design to cover up the marks..it looks really bad

maybe less obvious with a white back cover

If not, get a tri-coil design like the Nokia or tylt vu so you can charge phone in various positions.

This. I am temporarily using a Cruzerlite TPU case for now, as I am waiting for my Diztronic and Spigen cases. I picked up the Nokia wireless charger and so far it's pretty good. I agree, I don't think I can go back to via wire charging.

How fast is fast? I'm kinda tempted to get the Nexus one if it drops in price a bit.

Is there a way to utilize the full screen when playing games? Seems like a waste of real estate for the buttons.

I usually charge my phone when it goes below 20%. And it usually takes ~2hrs on the Google and ~3hrs on the Nokia.

Based on pure numbers, it seems about right as the Google averages around 700mA while the Nokia around 500mA.

Hmmm tempting. But I dunno if I can give up using my 2A charger which charges just so damn fast.

has anyone RMA'd their nexus 5?

realized i had a micro scratch on my screen and talked to google and was able to RMA my phone due to my power buttons ratting from the haptic feedback

went on the XDA forums and seems like the RMA'd phones are very prone to more defects sigh :okay:

I've RMA'd my first N5 due to broken mic. 2nd one has a working mic but dead pixels (this one is going back too). I have another one coming on Monday. Hopefully that one is a keeper.

RMA'd mine. Just received my replacement yesterday. Shipping took forever.
Previous one's speaker died after 2 weeks of use. New one is perfect except vibration/haptic is MUCH louder and not as "firm". Total luck of the draw but many people on xda are complaining of dust and dead pixels with replacement units.
At least replacements are all brand new according to Google when I spoke to them. No refurb'd units yet.

R5x 12-05-2013 06:43 PM

Just updated to 4.4.1.
Wow.
System sounds are MUCH louder now and don't distort when you jack up the volume. Also echo/reverb a bit kind of like in iOS 7. Huge improvement.

My vibrate/haptic also feels different now and is not as crazy as before.

Camera app loads faster and shot to shot time is improved. Haven't tested image quality yet.
Solid update so far though.

ryugeeh 12-05-2013 07:32 PM

I'm on my third RMA, this one is going back too... Ugh so frustrating! Stupid dead pixels

Drow 12-05-2013 07:52 PM

how do you guys test for dead pixels?

i dl the dead pixel app and i dont see any missing loool stupid fucking micro scratch fuck.

kcl38 12-05-2013 07:53 PM

Mine got stuck one night. Was really easy to see, it went lime green against a black background in a dark room.

SkinnyPupp 12-05-2013 08:38 PM

I haven't noticed any dead pixels on mine, and I'm not about to go looking for one. If I don't notice it then it doesn't matter

You can get it now .

Mr.HappySilp 12-05-2013 10:47 PM

Hmm it seems you guys are having a lot of issue with RMA's. Was thinking of picking one up as I will traveling to China/HK and wanted a cheap phone that I can use, now I feel I should just get the moto G instead........

knight604 12-05-2013 11:07 PM

Mine is perfect, im sure not many people would post that theirs is fine unless it is not.

jlo mein 12-06-2013 06:26 AM

Do you have to restore after updating to 4.4.1? I'm on stock 4.4, rooted.
