The iPod app looks so much better and is more intuitive to use. Yes, drag and drop and all but I'm so OCD about album art and such that Google Music is pissing me off.

And what's with all the fucking apps we don't get in Canada? I can't remember the last time there was an iOS app that was available in the US but not Canada in the last couple years. Sure, some of them don't work properly but that's because of stupid copyright issues and whatever (Netflix, Hulu, etc).
What app are you trying to install that's not available in Canada? If it's free you can change your region to get it if you really want that app, or find an APK

I was looking for a package tracker app and the first two I found were not available in Canada. One of them was called Slice. I really shouldn't have to go around it. It should just be there.

And Google Music isn't available to Canada.

Content streaming will always vary depending on the country... Can't really relate that to Android

As far as apps not being there, complain to the developers, or ask why they didn't put it on the Canadian store... Again that's not an Android thing... I thought there was an app you got on the Canadian iTunes store that wasn't on the Canadian play store or something...

hey guys, currently using iphone 4s with no data, thinking of finally making the switch to a new phone but with the new samsung s5 coming out in a few months, is the Google Nexus 5 on par with that phone?? or Vice Versa? I do not play games, i just use twitter, browser, and poker data apps (pokerstars) . Planning to get LTE because i heard it is faster than wifi but should I call rogers retentions now or in the summer since my 3 year plan is almost up in july

anyone using aptoide instead of the play store to get stuff? I've been pulling a few apps from there and it seems to be pretty good so far.

Nexus lines are made with budget in mind.. it will never keep up with high end phones... and with the S5 so new, it will no doubt be better...
By the sounds of it, with the things you do, why would you need a $600+ phone?

There is a saying in life, You Get What You Pay For $400 phone cant compare to a $600+ phone...

There are rumours that Google will discontinue the Nexus line of products in favour of publishing Google Play Edition devices instead. Reportedly, the current Nexus 5 will be the last of the Nexus phones.

The newest standard of wifi, 802.11ac is in the gigabit range. whereas Rogers LTE is max 150Mbps. Therefore LTE is not faster than wifi.

What you mean to say is LTE is faster than the ISP for your home. Which is true for most people, myself included.

Regarding your question, you can call Rogers retention anytime you want really. I've gotten success only 3 months into a new contract and I got discounts. Another time, they waived 6 months off for a hardware upgrade for my friend. It REALLY depends on the rep you talk to. If you don't like the rep you are talking to, just end your call politely and try again later.

PS: I'm not trying to be a troll or a jackass, its just a little pet peeve of mine when I hear ppl use wifi/ISP interchangeably; because they are not!

thx ferrari and shenmecar, guess ima stick to samsung s5 since google is a budget phone and i am okay to spend on something better. And I guess I can try calling retentions anytime :)

Nope. It does show that it's capable of long uptimes. Maybe you have some app causing the crash? Perhaps the rom or kernel you're using?
