Just got the black and white OEM LG n5 hardshell cases from here:

White one kind of sucks and feels like the cheap white plastic back of the n5.

The black one is great and feels EXACTLY like the actual n5 back. The fitting is ridiculous and feels like you're using the phone naked. No front lip either so dust that accumulates on the screen can be easily wiped away.

Only bad things are the price (it's OEM so that's a given), it feels really thin/flimsy, and it won't protect worth shit if it's dropped or placed face down. But if you're quite careful with your phone, want simple bumper/scratch protection from placing on a table, and are looking for an ultra-minimalistic case, then this case is perfect.

Ive heard alot of these polycarbonate cases actually scratch the corners on the N5

Anyone know of a local store that fixes n5 screens? I dropped mine a month ago and the screen is kind of shattered. It's still usable but the cracks are annoying me.

either try to fix it yourself or just get a nexus 5. The cost to fix the screen could be half of what you pay for the phone. When I took my Nexus 4 to have it fix (crack screen) it was about $240) so I just got a new phone instead.

anyone have a problem with the phone randomly restarting by itself every few days. only had mine for about 2 weeks, and it's really acting up. thinking about going back to iphone.

Its not normal. If you are completely stock and its been 2 weeks, RMA that.

I wouldn't give up after one bad experience. You definitely got a lemon and that can happen with any operating system.
If that was your third device I'd understand.

Don't let one phone tarnish the term Android for you. There are other Android phones out there.

Still having kinda shitty battery from AndroidOS drain throughout the day. I've also almost fill the phone with music, might be looking for a 32GB Black one in the future.

Anyone know how to stop emails from being sent twice? I had the same problem on my own phone as well.

Guys.... Mobile network not available all day today I can't make calls or texts, got data just fine writing this from the phone itself... Full bars good connection tried all the basic steps to fix still nothing... And yes my bill is paid... Google it briefly everyone said IRS a sim card issue but its been working fine these last few weeks

LOL.. are you in LTE mode only.. you cant make calls on LTE because theres no VoLTE yet..

I tried switching those to all the modes, 3g, LTE, 2g......

the weird thing is, the phone worked perfectly fine these last 2 or so weeks I had it, and it was actually in LTE mode the whole time...
But it's always done what my Nexus 4 never did, above the signal bars it's constantly switching from 3G to H, back and forth back and forth....

i dont get how it can suddenly just stop working, nothing changed or happened, didnt update the phone or nothin like that.... yesterday i was driving and all the sudden when I tried to dial just blacks out and says MOBILE NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE

anyway im gonna go stop by Wind store today see what they say, I dont think it's a simple solution I thought you guys might have a quick answer to

but if you want LTE, set it to LTE/GSM/CDMA auto

Shit.. I just left wind... I grabbed this phone sealed new from CL... Its blacklisted... Wtf r my options now?

from Googling it I found out that its only blocked in North America on their carriers... so the phone should work outside of Canada and US... my brother spends a lot of time in South America, maybe I just give him the phone and he sells it down there... they go for at least double the price down there actually, I remember when he first got a place there, he had a few iphones with him that he sold for like $1500 each

Can someone confirm this to be the case ? I mean the phones only being blacklisted IMEI's in Canada and US.... because I'm googling but it's a lot of reading threads with internet trolling back and forth, tough to tell whats true whats a lie..
