After a bit of research, I think I'll go with the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case. It's like $19.25 shipped on eBay. I'll also get a tempered glass screen protector for about $3.19 shipped (also eBay haha).

Is it possible to disable receiving text message notifications when a VM is left? I'm on Rogers if it matters. My old Android phone didn't receive text messages when I got a VM.

That's a Rogers thing. Try calling voicemail and see if there's an option to turn it off in the system. I don't know why your old Android phone didnt receive messages.
