For those that have GoPro cameras mounted on their helmet,
how strong is the 3M stuff? If I fall hard, would the camera come off?

I'm contemplating whether I need to attach some sort of safety "tiger wire" or something?

The 3M mount that came with the GoPro is pretty strong. You just need to clean the area of the helmet you're going to mount the GoPro with alcohol. After mounting the 3M stuff on the helmet, give it about 24hrs for the adhesive to stick effectively. and then you should be set to go.

I would put a leash on it. I've lost one gopro with out a leash and one with a leash. Both smacked off my head by trees.

I had the gopro fall off a few times after bailing hard. Never lost it though.

They have anchoring kits, its just another pad that has a tethering point on it then you attach a piece of string to the camera and the tether and it acts as a secondary safety measure.

I use the tethers on my car all the time. Last thing you need is to lose a 300 dollar camera at 100km/h

Was at cypress today. I got the gold medal card, but saved the free pass for one of the normal days. Lift ticket was $35 bux. As of right now, there's only 1 chair + bunny hill open. Snow is decent, not too icy. After 3-4 hours though, the runs get repetitive.

Looking to go to Baker for the first time on Friday. What some good runs I should hit up first? And should I go through Abbotsford if I'm leaving from Richmond at around 6?

Just watched "McConkey" and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. A movie to truly inspire one to get as much out of life as possible.

Don't even bother Luder. We just got back, and it's wet up there. I can't see it being any better tomorrow, since it's going to rain up top again.
