Credit Card's Benefit: Extended warranty (to 2 Years) I bought a Asus laptop about a year and five months ago. But recently has it acting up so I would need to send it to Asus to fix it. The laptop was purchased with my credit card (and one of its benefits is to extend the warranty to 2 years) So I was wondering how about am I going to do it? Send it to Asus, and they will bill me? then Report the cost to my CC and my CC Company will reimburse? Also one thing to know is that I lost my receipt so I have no prove that the laptop was purchased with my CC and purchased (a year and half months ago) :suspicious: |
Call your cc company first. You need to file a claim and have them approve it beforehand. Ask them what you need to provide. Likely you'll need to provide an image of the damage as well as an invoice. That's what I had to go through when I dropped my new phone and had to claim replacement insurance through my cc. |
Does this work for Rogers phones that were done through Hardware Upgrade? The bill was paid for by Credit Card. Thanks! |

does this work if your CC has aleady expired? and do they replace with the equal valued item on the market present day? ie. an $700 phone 2 years ago is only comparable to a $300 phone today...would be interesting if they replaced an iphone 4S with a 5S lol |
