There was speculation that he'd simply go to fight overseas, but he still has a contract with Bellator, so they might freeze it until his suspension is over which will leave him unable to fight outside of the organization

Giblert's fight was before July 1st, so he's getting penalized under the old protocols. He's only suspended for one year.

Anyway, getting really excited to see Conor fight. Hoping Mendes doesn't hump him to death and Conor's reach will keep him out of take down range.

I think the Conor fight will go something like this:

Mendes will try some takedowns, but Conor will spring back up immediately every time. Mendes will then have to resort to pure standup, and then get clobbered.

We've seen it many times with the supposed wrestling star supposedly keeping down the striker with takedowns. Then the striker ends up having great TD defense or just can't be kept on the ground.

As for Giblert, everyone does it, he just got caught. We'll see even more busts from now on. Get ready for most mains and co-mains to be ruined in the next year.
