Chad Mendes vs. Conor McGregor
Robbie Lawler (c) vs. Rory MacDonald
Dennis Bermudez vs. Jeremy Stephens
Gunnar Nelson vs. Brandon Thatch
Brad Pickett vs. Thomas Almeida
Conor beats mendes by too much reach and flashy shit. unless mendes can turn it into a grind.
Rory beats Robbie by the jab and avoiding robbies power and getting take downs and grinding a decision
I wish the betting lines followed what the internet is saying, and Conor was the underdog everyone thinks he is.... But yeah he's not going to be kept down long, an will destroy Chad standing up especially considering this is really short notice for one guy.
Taking Rory too (he's the betting favourite as well)
I don't know why Dana is shitting on Aldo so much. If Mendes ends up winning all the trash talk won't help the sales for a Mendes/Aldo fight, just leads to a pissed off champ.
The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place... and I donīt care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently, if you let it. You, me or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life. But ain't about how hard you hit... It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward... how much you can take, and keep moving forward. Thatīs how winning is done. Now, if you know what you worth, go out and get what you worth. - Rocky Balboa
For some strange reason I was craving a Monster after the McGregor fight....weird.

What a fucking amazing card! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was right about Conor but wrong about how long he would be on the ground. Mendez with a full camp would have been a different fight (with the same outcome but longer IMO).

Think about what might be a reason Aldo would give up a $4 million payday if he doesn't have a broken rib?
McGregor was probably just as hurt as Aldo, if not more

So with the Reebok deal taking place, it looks like fighters like Schaub and Luke Rockhold just look stupid. Guys who are worth the money will still wear extra sponsors, and their corners can wear other brands.
If you whine about it, you get put in the shit house. If you embrace it, you'll make money along with the company. On top of that, new guys on the undercard will make WAY more than they could selling Condom Depot ads on their ass.
Seeing Rory go down like that was just sad... It almost looked like he wanted to quit not on the fight, but MMA itself. Glad to see he can at least give a thumbs up afterward....
Most people had it 3-1 for Rory going in the 5th too. I was so amped for the BC boy to bring home the gold when he was gaining momentum. Sad that his nose got crumbled because you know he wanted to keep going, but the body can only take so much.
Also not necessarily insinuating anything, but all of Conor's TKO's are stopped much too early. I have no doubt that Chad could've gone 3 more seconds and recovered into the 3rd round; those last shots were being blocked
