Yeah as much as people seem to dislike Dana, I really see it going downhill without him. That goes for Rogan too, as idiotic as a lot of his comments are, having some boring ass person commentate like in Bellator would be so much worse.

GLOW 06-17-2016 09:10 AM

bisping vs hendo or GSP? yes please :fullofwin:

Michael Bisping says Georges St-Pierre's camp reached out, interested in bout - Bloody Elbow

Ch28 06-17-2016 05:02 PM

All we need now is to have Paul Heyman walk him to the cage

Berzerker 06-17-2016 05:31 PM

Did Fedor win today?

Brock's entrance music is going to be epic.

Berz out.

RRxtar 06-17-2016 05:41 PM

sounds like fedor got the shit kicked out of him in the 1st round, like ref was afraid to stop the fight because russia, but really needed to. then kind of came back in the 2nd and 3rd. should have been 10-8, 9-10, 9-10 draw. they gave fedor the win.

SkinnyPupp 06-17-2016 07:47 PM

Seeing Fedor get his ass kicked is one of my favourite things in MMA FeelsGoodMan

Bisping: GSP camp reached out about fight

Quote:

"I actually had some people reach out to me and say 'Georges St-Pierre is interested in fighting you,'" said Bisping. "Yes, some people from his camp. I was like 'Really, wow. Okay.'

"Tell him to sign the dotted line, just like Henderson, if he really wants to come out of retirement."

Berzerker 06-18-2016 09:30 AM

Wow Fedor was OUT after that first flurry on the ground there. Fuckin' Russia. I actually typed "As if russia would let him lose" in my first question a couple posts back but deleted it because I didn't want to seem pretentious haha

This wasn't even as bad as the Matt Lindland fight in Russia

Fedor is nothing but a sham. He was good in the early 2000's, but that's it. After that it's either fighting cans, cheating, or getting his ass beat.

Greatest of all time? No.. Greatest of Pride era early 2000's? Sure

you cant really call Fedor a sham when you call him a possible GOAT of pride in early 2000s....

I would just call Fedor washed up, old, and should just hang up the gloves. :okay:

GSP would have to fight henderson? fucking nostalgic... PogChamp

How is Fedor a sham, he beat the who's who in Pride in his prime and obviously stuck around too long, that's all.

SkinnyPupp 06-18-2016 12:32 PM

He wasn't always a sham, just that people kept calling him good long, LONG after he wasn't. That part is a sham. Even before he got beat by Henderson and Werdum, he was fighting geeks like Hong Man Choi. And people kept talking about how good he is. It was really annoying to me anyway

Berzerker 06-18-2016 12:51 PM

Agreed. At one point he was pretty dominant but that was ages ago. He's a far cry from GOAT though.

Berz out.

GLOW 06-18-2016 12:58 PM

He stole bisping's move winning by getting ko'd :lawl:

MarkyMark 06-18-2016 12:59 PM

I agree his management really screwed up his career post Pride era, but he had lost a step by then anyways.

Yep they needed to ditch M1 and let him fight in UFC to really cement his legacy. Had they done that and he became UFC champ (something I don't think he ever could have done given the fighters at the time) then he would be worthy of being talked about.

It's too bad he didn't come over and fight Lesnar, could have been one of the biggest HW fights in MMA history.

Ch28 06-18-2016 04:20 PM

Fedor vs Couture would've broke so many records. Put it as a US/Russia thing and see the money roll in

IMASA 06-18-2016 04:42 PM

If Fedor came over from Pride and the UFC didn't have to deal with the M1 co-promotion drama, I'd suspect he'd do as well as Cro Cop or slightly better...which isn't that great.

acestream

Spoiler!

RRxtar 06-18-2016 10:31 PM

Rory's done. Super gun shy and afraid to get hit. Spent the whole fight walking forward covering up. I think his face is still wrecked from the robbie fight. Seems to have lost some iq too

Ch28 06-18-2016 11:25 PM

Was never really a fan of Rory, especially when he decided that it'd be cool to give himself multiple nicknames.

Also doesn't help that he has the personality of a brick

subordinate 06-18-2016 11:39 PM

Rory is good, it's just superboy is a freak of nature man.

It was definitely a chess match.

Came in here to say the same thing. Like JDS, that one fight just took too much off him.

IIRC that was the last fight on his current contract

And I said it before, Wonderboy is by far the best in this weight class and will be champ as soon as he gets the title fight.

As for Woodley vs Lawler, I have no idea. I keep thinking how can Lawler win, but he keeps doing it. Woodley is legit, but Lawler is Lawler.

I hope it's Lawler because someone laughed at me for saying Wonderboy would tool him... Wait and see! LUL

RRxtar 06-19-2016 10:19 AM

Rory said in the post fight that his nose keep breaking ajd he went into the fight with a broken nose. Would explain why he was afraid to get hit. Said he might get surgery but doesn't know and just taking time off to let it heal didn't help
