anyone feel like 2016 is the year of the mega PPV cards? definitely a huge change from years past. partly due to there finally being a new generation of star fighters again, and way more competition within the top 5 of weight classes |
Yeah, I'm not expecting 2017 to be even close. 2016 had UFC 200 + UFC in MSG. |
Gsp released from ufc! |
he wanted that 10 mill money haha too bad ur personality is as flat as pre teen asian girl |

And way past his prime. |

He's still a huge draw worldwide, especially in Canada. He never lost his WW belt and only vacated it because he retired. If Coker and Bellator pony up the cash to sign GSP then it'll be a huge gain for them. It instantly legitimizes them as a threat to the UFC. You have to remember that for many years, GSP was the ultimate company guy. He did drug testing before it was mandatory, he wore suits before people wore suits, he did all the interviews and was always a pleasant person to speak with. He never ripped into the UFC and really played ball with what they wanted. |
Maybe not so fast. Dana disputing the claim now. Apparently gsps lawyer gave the ufc a deadline and the ufc only half responded. Gsp really wanted on the Toronto card |

Spoiler! and yes :lawl: FailFish at new owners thinking they need to re-introduce GSP...i was joking with my friend this morning ya people wouldn't know who is he...GPS??? isn't that an electronic device?? |
I knew when GSP said his lawyer ripped up his contract that it wouldn't be that easy lol And at the end of the day, is GSP really gonna go fight some nobody in Bellator and risk losing, just to stick it to the UFC? Probably not. |

he got called out by ben askrin already. maybe GSP would go and jab him to death ala koschek |
How can you say he's past his prime? He's probably in the best shape he's ever been in. I think the biggest surprise to me is that he's still going to be welter weight. I thought for sure he would have moved up to middle. UFC just wants to pay him that 2011 money. Not the new McGregor money. Berz out. |
I think GSP is still championship material at WW. Woodley got stuffed by Rory's jab, imagine what GSP's could do? Wonderboy poses a different threat but GSP is a beast of a wrestler and tactician. I can only imagine how much better he has become in this time off because he was training the entire time, not to mention he got a nice break from all the head trauma. |

I think it's mainly about dat sponsoship money. GSP aint dropping Under Armour and Gatorade for Reebok and Monster |
even people that don't know him know enough to call him "the RUSH" :derp: just like i heard people on the radio referring to cyborg as "the cyborg" :lol Tatsuya Kawajiri requested to be let go too. RoadFC $1miiiiiillion dollars tourney? or maybe getting up there in age and wants to fight closer to home? |
