Here is another link of the Edmund audio during the fight. The best part was hearing him screaming "noooooooooo noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!" that's the sound of his cash cow leaving him.
I also think it's absolutely ridiculous that Ronda doesn't know the simple concept of head movement. That's like one of the first things you learn in boxing. You never keep your head straight or you'll get KTFO cause the punches will keep coming. It's really sad that instead of using a fundamental basic technique that she'll revert to trying to clinch instead.
I liked the card last night - there were a fighters out there fighting to win instead of fighting and trying not to lose. As for Rousey - I understand that she was marketable and brought in the $$$ for the UFC, but that was then and the 'now' I don't includes her anymore. The new era of MMA fighters are showing how you can't be one-dimensional against inferior fighters anymore.
She brought the women's game up for sure. Now they are all well rounded and Rousey is left behind. Rousey needs to learn wrestling take downs. Only way she wins is on the ground.
I would be completely amazed if Ronda fights again, but if she does she better change coaches fast because that fucking guy has done nothing but pump up her ego into thinking she knows how to box with people.

Same thing happened with BJ Penn. You can't win long term if you constantly surround yourself with yes men. There's a reason why BJ was at the top of the game when he was with Marinovich, cause he didn't tolerate any of his bullshit.
Ronda doesn't know how to fight. She only ever knew how to bully. She has very little offensive boxing and absolutely no defensive boxing.
Her defense last night was putting her hands out in front of her like she was trying to grab the punches coming at her. Like what kids do on the playground.
Everyone with any real success in MMA these days has a tremendous team of people around helping to build them up - the best BJJ coaches, the best wrestling coaches, the best muay thai coaches etc. and they train/spar with other great fighters on the daily.
And then you have Ronda Rousey... has one coach (that nobody else uses or respects) and doesn't appear to train with any fighters.
Rousey is a waste of good talent, she should have taken her career more seriously and gotten out of that SoCal comfort zone, if she went to train at JW or ATT etc. there is no way she would have lost like that.
Cruz got played, moved forward the entire time, most of his fights he is moving backwards or laterally and being chased, apparently moving forward doesn't work for him and that raging hipster Cody No Love capitalized on that.
Hendricks... he's the real story, did anyone else watch the interview he gave one day before wight ins? Sounded like a crack head, I though he deserved to win that fight though... how did one judge score it 30-27 Hendricks and the other two scored it 29-28 Magney lol
Whatever, shit card IMO, didn't want to pay for it.
It's crazy to see how fast things fall apart for fighters at the top. It takes 7-10 wins in a row to get you a title shot but two consecutive loses are like a career death sentence.
Shit's cray.
Give Donald Cerrone a shot @ Woodley plz.

Cody and Nunes last night showed the emergence of fighters with GOOD boxing.
MMA is changing, and I like it. It finally validates what I've said all along, once you start seeing talented boxers come into the sport, it will change everything. This sport is no longer a wrestlers game, most fights in the UFC nowadays come down to punches. You're seeing guys like Cruz who's boxing game is good, but not great, he was able to use his ability to stay out of the pocket to avoid how much he leaves himself open for counters.
These new guys are different though, many of them have amateur boxing backgrounds, and have learned the MMA fundamentals (unlike guys like James Toney from the past).
I love it, you're seeing a different level in fighters now, I used to laugh at the striking talent in the UFC back in the day, but honestly now, you're seeing more guys striking at the professional Boxing/Kickingboxing level. Rhonda was a hype train, she beat a bunch of soccer moms and bag ladies, hopefully the UFC will learn to stop building up these frauds.
Fuck Joe as well for even saying Rhonda would have beaten Floyd Mayweather, give me a break, I used to not think he was a shill, but I might have been wrong.
Anyone else surprised they didn't even give a shoutout to Goldberg as well?
