Yup DC was excellent as well. You can tell he has such a real enthusiasm for the sport. He'll make a great colour guy some day, and is probably already the second best after Rogan.
Anik/DC will be fine. People complain about Anik but really the issues are with Stann and/or Florian who he has always been partnered with until now IIRC. Both those guys are boring and lack the enthusiasm Rogan and DC provide
DC is good. has some charisma too. Cruz is probably more technical but hes kind of bland in a commentator roll, way better as an annalist.
What needs to stop is all the people who seem to think a fighter can come in and take over Goldbergs spot. Rogans spot yes, not Goldbergs.
GSP vs. Woodley or Bisping for his first fight back. Bisping would be the money fight for sure but then what. Keep fighting at Middleweight or go back to 170 and try to be king again?
regardless of your feelings, he won the fight against hendricks on points, according to the existing rules of MMA. so he stepped away from the sport as the champ after 11 title fight wins in a row. he also stepped away as one of the top 2 PPV draws of all time, at the time, and is still in the top 4 or 5.
so ya, he does deserve a title fight at WW because it hits the rare effect of both making sense per mma-is-a-sport logic, as well as for the business sense of selling ppvs.
at MW, i agree he probably shouldn't get a title shot unless they somehow build a rivalry between bisping and gsp. but it sounds like bisping is going to fight romero in may
ALSO worth noting Hendricks was juicing and after that loss and USADA he turned to complete shit and basically fell off the map. This was one of the reasons GSP "retired" because of the lackluster testing going on. If you remember GSP was campaigning for USADA testing for both of them before that fight but it never happened. Let GSP fight USADA Pigrig and you will see a very different fight. So if the ONLY reason you say he doesn't deserve a title shot is because he "lost" (won by decision) that fight..... then you need to reassess your thinking.
actually i would be ok with GSP vs Hendricks rematch for his return fight. That fight actually makes sense because it would be "the rematch 4 years in the making after the controvertial first fight" and it would be a good warm up fight for GSP since he should walk thru Hendricks fairly easily, but the promo could show a bunch of clips of how close the first fight was to make it sell able.
Maybe if Pigrig has a good showing in a his next fight you could sell that otherwise it's just a wasted fight on his deal (if they have a specific number of fights in his contract)

Berz out.
He did well against someone that was so obviously juicing (completely fell off the map after USADA) so imagine if GSP was on the juice as well.

you are not a MMA viewer right now if you suggest that
he is on a 3 fight losing streak and is on the verge of getting cut within 1 or 2 bouts

Fucking guy. Barely makes middleweight now. He did a Q&A on FB and was spitting into a cup the whole time. I watched for about 15 seconds and was already sick of his shit.
